mmmm Hawaiian pizza is my favorite! Yum-o!

It sounds like you all had a great day! I love days like that, just looking around with friends and having great food. I am planning on going to Phoenix with friends Wed, we always eat at the Cheesecake factory. We don't have one here in Tucson, so we love it there. I can't wait! :yay:
We said Cheesecake Factory is next on our list! :rotfl2: :thumbsup2
Maybe after Christmas. I love CF! Mmmmmm.

OKay, I'd better go before I start drooling on my keyboard.

Hope you all have a good day ladies!! Ruben is off today and the Linens and Things near our house is closing and has things 90% off, so we are going to see what's left. Later!

Have fun! Ours is closing also. Did the whole company go down?

Our Cheesecake Factory and CPK are directly across the street from each other. Do you know how hard it is to choose!? It's impossible!

Hmmm, I wonder if our Linens 'n Things has shut down yet....

Well, I tried to call home and they didn't answer, so I assumed that they were probably napping and wouldn't miss me. So, since I happened to be driving right past the School of Massage on my way home I decided to detour... 90 minutes and $32 later I was on my way :wizard: Sadly they are only open on Saturday and Sunday and they don't pre-schedule appointments (only take walk ins) and the wait times are inconsisent, but you can't beat the price!

As for the whole Indian Chief from Peter Pan thing, think of it more like Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. It's more fun to be sorority president, but that's just my opinion (and I'm biased)!:worship:
I go to Vegas at least once or twice a year...where is this located???

Amy, Jane and Beth - You have to tell me what you ordered at CPK and if you liked it! I hadn't been to one in years and they just opened one up less than a mile from my house. I had the Hawaiian and thought it was way yummy, but I want to try something different next time!

I have never been to CPK...I like pizza....

We all shared and I think they were all really good!!! Then again, I never really met a pizza I didn't like. :rotfl2: Especially at CPK.
Here is their menu with some pics: http://www.cpk.com/menu/pizzas/

Oh my goodness, the desserts look yummy! I couldn't imagine having enough room after I scarf down pizza the way I do. Someone would have to roll me out of the place. :rotfl:

Hello everyone! :goodvibes My name is Heather, and I’m fairly new around here, but am so excited about joining your trip. I have been to WDW several times, but have never been to DLR. I’m really enjoying getting to know all of you, and really want to add to the fun around here. So, to add a little fun to our week, I’ve come up with a little quiz about Disney and Disneyland for us to play. I have something really great to offer to the 6 ladies who answer the most questions correctly. I have a feeling everyone will want one of these prizes, that’s why I’ve come up with this little quiz! :thumbsup2

So, here are my guidelines for ‘winning’: You must be signed up now and absolutely sure that you are going on the ladies trip in March. You must be staying for the whole trip until at least Sunday evening as I will not be able to get your prize to you until Sunday morning 3/8/09 at the earliest. I am going to offer the prize to the 6 ladies who get the most questions right. In case of a tie, I will offer the prize to the first person who PM’d the answers to me. So, accuracy and speed will help you! The deadline to PM me your answers is 10am Pacific Time Friday 11/21/08. Please include your name when you PM me your answers. Good Luck Everyone! :woohoo:

Update 11/17/08 1921PM Central Time: After some thought, and discussion with someone that's not playing, I've decided to change question #3. I am keeping the original question in case someone has already found the answer and just hasn't got the answers to me yet. So, now, if you get the bonus question correct, I will remove a question you got wrong. I hope that makes sense to everyone!

Heather’s 20 Questions
1. What is the name of the Yeti in the Matterhorn?
2. Who did Walt Disney "Kidnap" on the monorail?
3. Name the 2 Disney Animated films in which a group of 3 characters watch the happy ending from a balcony while one of them wipes away tears.
4. Everyone knew that the best rides and attractions were the “E” coupon attractions. In a 1974 book of 15 coupons, how many “E” coupons would a guest expect to find?
5. One thing that guests looked forward to was Disneyland's newest attraction, which had been added in early June of 1972. Word was that the attraction was absolutely spectacular. Which Disneyland attraction was introduced in June of 1972?
6. How many bears were there in the Country Bear Jamboree?
7. What species of plant is the Tarzan Treehouse?
8. How many Pirate ships in "Peter Pan's Flight" have red sails, with black skulls? (The majority are black sails with white skulls.)
9. Before entering the "Enchanted Tiki Room", you listen to the Tiki Gods and Goddesses in their Enchanted Garden; which god or goddess is the "Midnight Dancer"?
10. Where in Disneyland can a person find a painting of Pirates of the Caribbean that has “Gilligan’s Island” hidden in it?
11. How many spots total were painted on the dogs in the movie “101 Dalmatians”?
12. True or False: Walt Disney owned Disneyland?
13. Which characters have 2 attractions in Toon Town?
14. What shaped target gives you the highest points on Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters?
15. How many dioramas were in the original Sleeping Beauty’s Castle Walkthrough?
16. Where in Disneyland can you see a man dressed up like a woman?
17. You are driving a bus to Disneyland carrying 5 children, 11 ladies and 10 men. The bus’s name is "trip-o-fun". Nobody has an orange shirt on, but there are 2 hats being worn. One person is standing up, 6 people are sleeping, and 2 children are reading Finding Nemo. What is the bus driver’s name?
18. Disney math: Number of spotted dogs times the number of Donald’s nephews minus number of Snow White’s “little friends” times the number of “lands” in Disneyland equals?
19. The Conductors of Disneyland’s Railroad wear costumes based on what?
20. You’re in a dream, at Disneyland, and you’re hungry. So, you walk up to a door, and press a buzzer. After being ‘lifted’ to your seat, you order, and then visit a small private area and sit on a fancy wicker chair. After eating, you step outside to check out the line for the Pirates of the Caribbean. Then you visit a glass case, and hand over lots of money to a smiling cast member. After finishing this you sadly leave, and wonder if you’ll ever experience this again. Where did you go for lunch?

Bonus Question: Just for fun! In the first room of the Sorcerer's Workshop in the Animation Building at DCA where you can make your own animation, there are lights and pictures hanging from the ceiling. There are four that look like crystals that represent four Disney movies. They even have a character from the movie in each crystal. Can you name the four movies?

Ooooh Heather! This looks like fun! I'm going to start working on it right away. :goodvibes

I go to Vegas at least once or twice a year...where is this located???

The Las Vegas School of Massage is located at Windmill and Eastern (about 6-7 miles southeast of the Strip). Every Saturday and Sunday they are open from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and the students do hour long massages for $32. It can be a little hit or miss as far as the wait time, but it is usually 30-60 minutes, and you also have to keep in mind the fact that these are students. Some masseurs are better than others, but they have always been professional and I have never had an issue.

And, you can't beat the price--My DH sent me to the spa at Green Valley Ranch last January and you can get 6 massages at the School for what one massage cost there!

Flying back from Orlando, I had a conversation with anothe passenger who was the manager of a CPK--he told me the two most popular dishes are the BBQ Chicken Pizza (my personal fave) and the BBQ Chicken salad (another winner!)

I've never tried the BBQ chicken salad. I'll have to look into that!

Cheryl, looks like interest is good for the tour! Are you keeping a running list of names or did you want me to?

If you don't mind keeping a list on the first page that would be great: for those of you who do want to go, please PM me your name, address and phone number. (DVC wants a list--expect some junk mail! but at least it will be Disney junk mail).

Beth: I will put together the list to give to DVC--they want to put together a welcome package for each person.

I am thinking about doing the DVC tour just out of curiosity. I don't have the funds to do that right now, but I would really enjoy the tour and free refreshments. popcorn:: Thanks for organizing this TooCherie!

Heather - In regards to your 20 questions, before I go insane over here, are you going to tell us if we get any wrong so we have a chance to fix them, or is this a one shot type of deal?

Thank you!

Some of these questions are killing me!!!! :rotfl:

I think to keep things fair, I'm going to make it a one shot deal. This way everyone has the same amount of time to answer them. I will be more than happy to tell you which ones you got wrong once the whole thing is over. I hope to announce the winners Friday night, so that we can all gloat over our winnings all weekend!

Hmm...can we change our answers once we submit them? Like maybe you can limit it to changing only 1 or 2 or 3 answers.

Can you tell I'm stressed? There's 1 that, for the life of me, I cannot figure out!!!

Don't stress! You have all week. You are making me smile though. :lmao: Out of curiosity, which one are you having trouble with?

Calm down, Wendy. I'd work on getting it right instead of being the first one done. . . Slow and steady wins the race . . . ::yes::

As I easily whisk by her to be the first one with 100% ;) :p

The animation studio one, number 3! I'm pretty sure I have the other answers mostly right, but I can't seem to figure out number three!!!!! :confused3 :rotfl2:
