I like Space & Big Thunder Mountains but I dislike Splash. It's the whole 80ft drop, makes my stomach go up to my throat. ME NO LIKEY. I also dislike Screamin'.

I'M SEEING TWILIGHT TONIGHT!:cool1: :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

It's only a 50 foot drop, so not nearly as bad as you think. Come'on, even the "ride weenies" are doing it! (I figure if we can talk you into reading Twilight, we can talk you into a little ride with Brer Rabbit!)

Awww, come on! You've got to go on Splash with us! And Heather.....:rolleyes1

AND STACIE!!! ::yes::

Enjoy the movie! popcorn:: I'm thinking that maybe this weekend I will have Ruben take twins to see Bolt while I take Noelle and Adam to see Twilight. Maybe...... I dunno, the darn movies are so expensive now, so we'll see how broke I am feeling. :lmao:

I wanted to take the kids to see Bolt in 3-D, but they charge $2.00 extra for the 3-D glasses here, so that would make it almost a $50 movie for us (during a matinee!) Ridiculous! :sad2:

And I love all the rides. . . But, this trip is not about the rides for me, as I will figure out how to do tons of those with my kiddos in Feb. For this trip I am excited to do the tour, the ambience and the food, not to mention the great company.

I say that each time I go without my kids now, and yet I still find myself standing in lines for ride after ride. It's like I don't know how to not do the park commando. I'm like a trained dog at DL. I need someone to teach me how to take it slow.

Having a gorgeous overcast coolish day here in Phoenix. Finally feels like Fall. Can't wait for the rain! :cool1:

UMMM. NO. SO FAR WE HAVE ONLY HAD CONFIRMATION OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE MONKEY BRIDE FROM WENDY AND FROM SOMEONE WHO THINKS KURT THE BILLY IS "SEXY"--I WOULDN'T BASE ANY APOLOGY ON THAT! (AND TINA--WE'RE STILL WAITING ON THE "KISS" STORY!)

Don't be jealous that only the cool kids can see the monkey bride.

:scared1: No movie is worth that much!

Ooooooh, Cheryl seems a bit fiesty today. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I second that. :thumbsup2
Oh, and thanks for the reminder about the ET books!

Yes, and Stacie!

$50 for a movie is nuts but that's about what it would cost us even without the 3-D. Wow, when you really think about it, there are soooo many other things I could use 50 bucks for!! LOL

You are like a trained dog! And once you get the scent of something you don't let go!! :lmao: ;) Lucky for me. LOL But we do need to slow you down just a tad on this trip.

Enjoy your Fall day. It's cloudy here too! :cloud9: But no darn rain. Boo.

I need some Christmas cheer. I can't believe I could give a care-less if Christmas happened this year. I don't want to be a grinch, but really, my family has gotten out of control with their petty fights. :sad2:

:)

I saw a Carnival internet ad the other night that had Towel Animal Theater, and they had a very amusing take on what towel swans might be saying to each other!

Molly, I saw that commercial too, and thought that Carnival has a really great new ad campaign going. The Towel Animal Theater is hilarious! Too bad they don't get very good reviews for cruising.

Glad someone else saw it. :)

When I first watched that particular bit, I had the sound off, so I had a TOTALLY different idea of what they were saying than what they actually were saying.

The Club 33 announcement had such strange timing! I saw it after waking from a dream that when we got to the parks on the 6th, DS saw John Lasseter and went running over (Eamon watches the bonus features of our movies at least as often, if not more often, than he watches the movies, so he's on a first name basis with Lasseter). R and I caught up, and JL was so charmed by Eamon that he asked if he could join us for the day, to get a regular guest's perspective. Except that he then invited us for lunch at Club 33, where I had to have a convo with the chef to get vegetarian, corn syrup free, entrees and desserts. Good dream, and hilarious that the food stuff is so ingrained that I even dream about it now. Oh and in the dream we went on Jungle Cruise but JL did NOT take over the boat, even though he was a JC skipper when he worked at the park. :upsidedow

Hubby has agreed to plan for me to go on this trip (what he thought we were doing before, I'm not quite sure!).

But he says that instead of all three of us going right back down at the end of March for his b'day, that he and DS should go down alone.

I said "yes, of course, good plan!" quickly, and not FIVE minutes later was almost in tears, thinking of them going alone and how much fun they would have and how awful it would be up at home alone!

I have obviously lost my mind.:sad2:

 Don't let them bring you down! Find your own joy in the season. Bake some Christmas cookies to take to work, or pop in White Christmas with a blanket and some hot cocoa. :cloud9:

I've heard some unpleasant things about Carnival. :confused3 Too bad. There prices are usually cheaper.

Aww, but just think what an amazing bonding opportunity for them! :goodvibes

Have you guys seen the website blackfriday.info?

Beth, do you use your entertainment book coupons for the movies? We have Regal for $6.50, which is even less than matinee. I went to the movies last week and almost died when I saw the prices. I don't go often! Anyhow, I am dying to see Bolt too.

And I love all the rides. Every stinking one of them! Tea Cups can be a little challenging, but I take dramamine and then I love it! But, this trip is not about the rides for me, as I will figure out how to do tons of those with my kiddos in Feb. For this trip I am excited to do the tour, the ambience and the food, not to mention the great company. I have not been on vacation with my girlfriend Terri since our backpack across Europe simply ages ago.(20 years?)
Well I just happen to be one of the older ladies going on this trip, and I love all the rides. Like you, I will usually pass up the Tea Cups, and the last time I went on Mullholland Madness, was not good. But other than those two, I'm good to go. :woohoo: My favorite ride is the ToT!!!! I'll even go on Screamin!!
So come on you whimps out there...............don't let a 50ish lady show you up!!! :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Aww, but just think what an amazing bonding opportunity for them! :goodvibes

And much more FUN than the "stay at home bonding while Molly goes to CA" times they've had....I tried SO hard to get them to go stay with my brother in San Diego during my own SD trip! But they insisted that setting up the tent in the living room was not to be missed etc etc...I think Disneyland will be more fun than that, though. :)

So come on you whimps out there...............don't let a 50ish lady show you up!!! :rolleyes1 :rotfl:
:rotfl: Well, I won't do Screamin. Done it before, but won't do it again. So you're already showing me up!! LOL

Well, tents in the living room are fun too! But yeah, not as fun as DL. ;)

Stacie,

Welcome home!

Looks like you had a wonderful time. Your pictures look great!!!

Callie, Stacie, and Cheryl, are your ears burning? :rolleyes1

They should be! I just updated my TR, lol!

AND STACIE!!! ::yes::

NO!!

It's like I don't know how to not do the park commando. I'm like a trained dog at DL. I need someone to teach me how to take it slow.

I'm the same way, I still want to go on EVERYTHING. Sometimes I think it's my kids who don't' care about going on all the rides!

Yes, and Stacie!

Again, NO!!!

:)

I saw a Carnival internet ad the other night that had Towel Animal Theater, and they had a very amusing take on what towel swans might be saying to each other!

I haven't seen that commercial, what were they allegedly saying?

I need some Christmas cheer. I can't believe I could give a care-less if Christmas happened this year. I don't want to be a grinch, but really, my family has gotten out of control with their petty fights. :sad2:

I told you you're more than welcome to come here. Maybe then I wouldn't eat so much!!

:rotfl: Well, I won't do Screamin. Done it before, but won't do it again. So you're already showing me up!! LOL

Screamin' is the BEST!! And now that Callie showed me how much better it is in the front row, I LOVE it!!

Callie, Stacie, and Cheryl, are your ears burning? :rolleyes1

They should be! I just updated my TR, lol!

Uh oh, guess I better check that out! popcorn::

I vote a big yes for having a BBQ lunch at BTR since BB will be closed. Do you think we have enough people to constitute a "group"? What time is the VIP tour starting? If it is after noon, maybe this could be the one meal everyone tries to attend so we have a large crowd. Great idea Heather.:thumbsup2

Beth, what do you think?

I could be down for doing BTR. I love me some BBQ.

No kidding?

Maybe I need to apologize to Wendy?

Wendy I am sooooooooooo sorry for not believing in you.

Next month, I will get to see the elusive Monkey Bride in person. :cool1:

If it exisits. ;)

Also I'm going to update the WCT list. Since we have some of you who are signed up for this lunch, now going to the Club 33 brunch, I'll go ahead and take you off.
I took off myself, Wendy, Stacie, Jane and Amy.

Wine Country Trattoria, early lunch on SUNDAY
1. kelmac284/Kelly

I thought I signed up for this one. Add me please. Thank you! :)

For the first time in a long time I have to work the day after Thanksgiving. And Saturday.

I always work the day after Thanksgiving. I have even worked many years on Thanksgiving Day. The joys of working in a hospital. Sick people stick around even on the holidays.

I like Space & Big Thunder Mountains but I dislike Splash. It's the whole 80ft drop, makes my stomach go up to my throat. ME NO LIKEY. I also dislike Screamin'.

My issue with Spalsh is well.....the splash. My hair doesn't take well to getting wet like that.

YES--I AM A CANDIDATE FOR SAINTHOOD

:rotfl2:

Don't be jealous that only the cool kids can see the monkey bride.

Is that what you call them? We call them something else in these parts, it has to do with a height challenged shuttle of sorts. :rolleyes1

Well I just happen to be one of the older ladies going on this trip, and I love all the rides. Go right on ahead and show me up on TOT. I will be happy to let you.

I just have to brag about my DD. We got her report card yesterday and it was quite amazing. All A's and one B. And two of the A's were A+. She is at a college prep type school and her classes are weighted, she ended up with a 4.5 GPA. I am so proud of her. And she still had time to be on the flag football team and the computer club. I was a bit worried since this is the number one school in the county, but she showed she deserves to be there. Just had to brag.
