Heather, Don't you have a Nathan? Is it your little one or your littlest one? I cleaned out my under stair closet and sorted all the hats and scarves and gloves, etc. I found a darling buzz light year set that I had personalized for my Nathan. Darn kid won't wear it anymore. So, if it works, I could bring it to you, for next winter.

Hi girls--sorry I haven't been around too much lately--the DBF/Ex-DBF is now definitely the EX. He moved all of his stuff out tonight. I didn't think I would be that upset--after all it was me who decided that it was for the best, but after three years I guess you get used to having someone around, KWIM?

Anyway, Stacielee is coming in this week so I'll get to see her and DLR so that will cheer me up.

I did somewhat decorate my tree yesterday--but couldn't get motivated to put all of the ornaments on--just the ones I really love (like the Disney Hallmark ones). It looks a little bare, but it will do for this year. Not doing much else--have decorated some outside and put up a few things.

I'll be around more later this week. Wendy--Kao is CUTE! But looked very unhappy in that picture wearing the Christmas garb--LOL.

Callie: I have GOT to know who you are having issues with! LOL.

You guys crack me up.

All the trees look so nice! I just got ours done today but I'm leaving in the morning to go pick up DD from college, and making the obligatory stop at DLR, and meeting up with Cheryl! Can't wait!! I love it there at Christmas time. And I printed out that list of all the special holiday foods so we can try as many as we have time/room for, YUM!! I probably won't be on too much, if at all, until Thursday when we come home, just depends on DD's exams and how much time we can spend at DLR!

It's a chocolate cupcake that has a chocolate chip cream cheese filling, and it has whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top. It was so yummy! Maybe I can bring some down to Anaheim for the Girl's Trip.

EX's are crappy, especially this time of year. I hope our trip to DLR helps you feel better! I'll call you on Tuesday and figure out when/where we'll meet up on Wednesday. I think we're going on Tuesday as well, for part of the day, are you available?

Tabitha is a dead ringer for my Tiki--weight issues inclusive. However, he doesn't like the camera, so I don't have any pictures to post right now. I will have to see what I can get later this week of both him and Trixie, our other cat. She, however, looks nothing like Holly--she is a petite black cat who I am convinced can apparate and disapparate as she has a tendency to disappear for hours on end!

I am so tired and so stuffed! I had the Whiskey River BBQ Chicken wrap at Red Robin and it was so good. Then instead of a cake, Adam wanted sundaes so we had different ice cream flavors, hot fudge, crushed Oreos, nuts, whip cream, cherries, sprinkles, etc and did a make your own sundae bar.
I'm pretty sure I've gained about 10 lbs today. But it was a nice day and he was happy with all his presents.

It's been super windy here today!! Knocked down all our outdoor decorations. Our reindeer toppled over, some lights came down off the house, the light trees tipped over, candy canes fell, etc. Looked like a tornado hit outside. I'm tempted to just pack it all back up rather then try to fix it. We'll see.

Anyway, hope you all had a nice day.

Just checking in. I probably won't be on much in the next few weeks. The Holidays are bad enough but I also have two papers due soooo...I need to try to stay off this site to keep up with things here.

Beth, I LOVE that wrap! I get it every time I eat there. I always say I'm going to try something else but I end up getting that wrap every time!! You're making me hungry just thinking about it now.

Good Morning Ladies!

A quick hello to you.

I love all of the Christmas trees. Mine has lights and a few bead garlands wrapped around it and that is all at the moment. I'm still working on those ornamants for tonight's party. Only 2 more to put the last minute details on.

Our Christmas cantata went really well yesterday. I've been singing in choirs and ladies groups for years, and it was mentioned several times, that it was one of the best ones ever heard. Wow! Nice to know, when you put alot of time in it. We also have a new music director who is great.

It's raining here!! It is sooooooo pretty looking out onto the Sierras and seeing them covered with snow!!! The foothills even have snow on them!!

Morning all. LOVE all the new pics. Love all the trees and Wendy LOVE the kitty sweaters. I think my cat would give the same po'd look if I tried that too LOL.

I didn't have a very good night unfortunately. The older I get the more stupid medical problems I have, I swear I am falling apart. I suffer from severe migraines and as it is I take several meds daily. Well my doc put me on some new hormone therapy and I was getting them EVERY single month like clockwork and since I tried this new stuff I was SO lucky to go 2 whole months without one and it was HEAVENLY but it was bound to end. The great part was I was also sans AF but I knew THAT was too good to last cuz now I have been spotting (sorry TMI) for about a week and a half (which I knew that was going to happen eventually from the LAST time I tried this) and now THIS. I woke up at 1 feeling like someone stabbed me in the skull with a friggin knife. When I get a bad migraine I have to resort to the big guns so I had to take a percocet and it USUALLY works but it didn't even make a dent. And then I have to sit completely up straight in bed with a washcloth over my eyes and an icepack on my neck. It sucks! Well I got up this morning and it was STILL killing me.

On top of it this stupid rib thing is STILL bothering me and I have to go back for my follow up today which is good I guess because I am going to tell my doc that it is not better. The pills he gave me did NOTHING and I am wondering if that diagnosis was even right. He thought it might be shingles but I never got the rash but I am still thinking it might be that or something else because it is just NOT going away and I am going on 3 weeks now. UGH.

Last night I don't know if it was cuz of the headache or what but my whole left side went numb. Down my left arm and my left leg. It was weird. I still have this infernal itching on my shoulder blade, arm and chest and the burning kind of went away but now it is kind of starting to come back. SO frustrating.

So I am just a piece of work I tell ya! LOL. I sound like an 80 year old. I have so many different dang pills I sure look like one. I just hope my stupid doctor can get it resolved. I am not that thrilled with him. He tends to not always listen and he is one of those that has a revolving door in his office. He likes to get people in and out. I have had several people say I should get a new doc and I have considered it but our entire family goes to him and the thought of going through the process of starting over and getting a new one is not desirable although I may have to. A lot of times he doesn't listen to me and that is frustrating. It took me almost a year of suffering with my bladder before he would refer me to a urologist. RIDICULOUS!

But anyway sorry for the novel. I have to work today but I told my mom I am just going to run in and do what I have to do and get out of there.

I may or may not be back on the boards after I get home. Depends on how I feel.

We are back from our disneyland trip...special moments with my family i will always remember. . i'll do a trip report in a couple of days when it all sinks in.

Kelley... Three weeks before we left on our trip to disneyland I had to go for a catscan as my migraines became very bad. Then my Doctor put me on Topamax twice a day.. i have haven't had one migraine since i started Topamax. It really works for me.

Beth... Wow! I would have loved having you for a mom.. i never liked birthday cake.. You came up with the perfect idea.. a ice cream bar.. where were you when i was a little girl.. probably not even born yet! Since i was born in '64

Amy... Good Luck with Your papers!.. I wish we had a Red Robin's..their commercials always look so good.

I am so loving these pictures!!! I love all the trees! So many fun colors and themes. The kids and pets are soooooooo cute too! I love seeing a bit about others like this whose posts I have read so much!

I also love that lake view WOW!!!!! My view is of my neighbors house or my own backyard. I am jealous

I guess I can share my tree, it has become a family joke, I needed a bigger tree because my ornament collection out grew my 6ft tree, so we went to Costco and picked out a tree which looked almost too small in the giant wherehouse store, but is a giant 12ft tree that the angel actually brushes the ceiling hahaha! Every time DH talks about how Hugh the tree is I always remind him it looked smaller at Costco hahah!

It is covered in handmade ornaments from all sort so people we know, Nightmare Before Christmas, Disney, Hello Kitty, things from trips (mine and my Mom's), and many other odds and ends.

At least the new baby won't be able to get at the tree next year, but after that I think I am in trouble at least I know it can support a cat climbing it

Well, you'd be right. LOL! I was born in '71.
The make your own sundae bar is a favorite of my son's. He's not fond of cake either, and this is much more fun because you can experiment. It can be messy though, lol, so watch out.

Good afternoon everyone!
I'm running a little late but I only have one more load of laundry to do before I'm finished with today's chores! I still have some Christmas errands to run but I promise, my Christmas cards will be sent in the mail today.

So, about animals and clothes. I have a huge Scooby Doo that I won at a fair and he's wearing a purple hoodie sweater that says "Property of Mystery Machine". I took it off and put it on Osita. SHE LOOKED SO CUTE. It's a bit big around her stomach but my dad can take it in. Once we fix it, I'll post a picture. She looks so cute with a hoodie on but she likes to chew on it so I have to make sure that it isn't loose or dragging 'cause she'll start slobbering all over it.
Right now she is ADORABLE. We have the fireplace on and she is curled up in a little ball asleep on the rug nearby. I need my camera!!!

Aw man I got up and she got up. Shucks! I'll just have to wait!
