Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

I want to stay on-site. I think Molly wanted to try for that too. I'll PM you about this weekend.

I would stay onsite, with a good rate & a few roomies, if not I am slummin it at the HoJo's....in a suite with Stacie packin us in...ya'know cuz she rolls like that.

So does anyone besides me want to stay onsite? I would love to, as long as I can get someone to share with. If we don't get a good rate, then we could have a backup at Hojos for the last minute. So what say you? :hyper:

Thanks!

I would be up (or down if I am using the lingo my daughter uses, she's says I am so unhip... ;)) with staying onsite if the price is right! :)

Okay, so you know the moose that visited me this morning. Well she came back this afternoon, except this time she had her baby with her. It wasn't a new baby. I'd say it looks like last years foal. So of course I had to take a few pics to share with all of you. :thumbsup2

Here's mom and the baby.

I can't wait to see what is outside your window tomorrow!

You really ought to put Janelle (MommywithDreams) in "our" room. I really won't be there, and she's awesome, and will make a great roomie and has already met Stacie and Heather. And if I miraculously show up I'm sure she won't mind if kick her outta the bed since I just totally talked her up. :lmao:
I can add her there. No problem.

So here's the golden question........ how much approximately did this run people???? (not including travel)
I think most people spent between $600 and $900 last time depending on which meals, and tours they did. Also on what sort of airfare deal you can find.

Beth- about a year ago you and your family stayed at a hotel that had a nice breakfast. It was a pretty decent sized room you were in...what hotel was that? Do you even know what I am talking about?:lmao:
Yep. We stayed there many times. I liked it a lot. Especially the full hot free breakfast buffet.

Wow. That's so neat, but doesn't it worry you? I'd be nervous one day I'd be outside and they'd show up and momma would attack!

Where is everyone going to be on Friday and Saturday?
Well, I'll be sitting home doing nothing. Not having fun at Disney. Nope not at all. :sad2:

;)

Are exorcisms on the room service menu?! :lmao:
:rotfl2: I hope so!!
BTW, great job on multi-quoting like a pro now. :thumbsup2

4 hour nap??! Why can't Maddie have one of those?
Why can't I have one of those??

I would love to stay onsite if the per person price was affordable for me and my roomies. Otherwise I'm sticking with the HOJO too. Both Beth and I have APs, so maybe we'll get lucky and a super great AP rate will come out.

Beth, thanks for posting the link to the Radisson. It is actually not a bad price.

For the February trip, I don't mind staying onsite either as long as it is a really good rate. If we take Maddie in November, I will most likely get an AP then so I can use it for the ladies trip.:thumbsup2

As for Vegas, when in summer were you thinking? There are some of us (four, possibly five ladies) getting together in July for some fun. Two of the ladies are coming with their hubbys and are sneaking away for a bit one night for some fun.
So if you think it might be towards the end of July PM me and let me know. Maybe we can work something out. :cool1: That would be a nice way to meet some of us before the trip.

Thanks! I PM'd you.

Beth--is the Radisson the one near Knott's? If so, January just keep in mind you will need a car.

and Beth--could you start a list of ladies who are interested in staying on-site?

Off hand I know it's me, tinkermell and daisy77 (all "if the price is right")

Nah, it doesn't worry me too much, although if momma had a new foal then YES, I would want everyone to keep their distance. They won't be around for much longer though. As the weather gets warmer they'll head to higher ground where there will be plenty of food and they'll stay cooler.

And I'll be sitting at home too.....slaving away on my essays and PowerPoint presentations. Not having fun at Disney either. Nope not at all. :sad1:

On-site sounds good to me as well......I have to tell you, I'm a little freaked out about rooming with someone.......
Haven't done that for years.....my hubby says I snore :scared1:

I also have stomach issues as well........ thought I'd bring that up as well....since there seems to be a topic of "those types of things" on here today......

Yeah...we have family in Costa Mesa and Corona. So we will only be at DL for 2 days max. We are going to be driving from Boise.:thumbsup2

I never had a tummy issues until this trip. The chimi I ate did me over. Thank heaven Beth had some immodium. :woohoo:

Eh, snoring is no biggie.

That's a bummer about the chimi.....I can't eat anything without it being an issue......but I will say, I did pretty good these last 2 trips........ Maybe it's the Disney magic!!!

Well if snoring isn't a problem.....I'd be willing to try sharing a room..... maybe one other person???? Got a while to figure that one out........

:rotfl2: Not the MGM.. Biggie You are CraZeY:lmao:

My mom has to ride in a shuttle/or A.R.T ... and the one at the HOJO i don't think is covered and when we stay at Holiday Inn on South Walnut.. you just walk out the door and it's right there, with lots of seating and it's Covered.

I have to think of her.

YOu are so sweet to your momma.

Thank you for adding the pictures! ;)

For newbies any suggestions on roomie selections? Since we really don't 'know' anyone yet...I guess we have awhile to decide so maybe as we get to know everyone we could then decide?

There are quite a few newbies looking for roomies. And a few returners also. You should have no problem. I would scope out and see who you may click with and who is looking.

Yay for naps!!

I second that.

So far for our room it looks like Stacie, Debra, Steph, me and ???? Whoever else wants to shack up with us

Amy Sue is in our room too. She and I share a bed so I don't have to shave.

And I thought Debra was shackin up with cccdisney/becci

That's why God invented Ambien. :thumbsup2

Thank God!
