Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

Grr.. I thought I had one free night and I just found out I don't.:sad1: Geez, can't a girl just get her Dis on for once?!

I will try to find out the latest and greatest after softball.:thumbsup2

Peace out:hippie:

You're going to leave us for WORK or something?? Geez - I've really slacked from work today :scared1: Not good!

Sorry, got to pay the bills somehow. My sugar daddy is back in school so he can't pay my way just yet. :lmao:

You think the Dis "knows" I'm eating onion rings?

I'm still getting the Weight Watchers ad at the bottom of the page.

Here Dis--take this--jelly beans!!!!!!

You tell them Cheryl!

I went to lunch and I was 10 pages behind! I'm caught up now.

Stacerita, I'm in need for a roomy too! I'm not sure what days I'll be there, possibly Saturday and Sunday? Maybe Friday? Who knows, but I do need a roomy!

CoMickey, thank you for the offer! That would be fantastic! You're not that far from me! I work in Camarillo.

Okie, got you down for a roomie.

Next time don't go to lunch and you won't need to catch up.:confused3

Hey Stacie...even though I probably can't come, you better have me on your roomie list. And, don't forget Steph!!!!!

I'm at work, and use of the internet is strictly forbidden.

So, don't tell!!!!

AmySue

Of course I got you down as my roomie. And you will be there. Even if I have to get one of those beth-let dolls. Yeah, our room could use an Amy Sue-let.

I drink my coffee black so I've never noticed that.

She likes her coffee hot and black just like her men.

Probably me, although I might want to stay onsite if at all possible!!

Hey are you talking about my hair?!? Nothing goes on my head... well, except a helmet on the Segway!

AndI have the pics to prove it.

Things are looking up for me Divas!

I have been trying to get Nathan into music therapy for weeks now. They just called and they have an opening on Wednesdays!!! :cool1: :cheer2:

I hope he likes it. She even told me that I can bring Nolan and he can participate. It will be great for her to help teach him sharing, waiting, and all that fun stuff.

I'm almost in tears because it's just wonderful when all of your hard work pays off. Thank you Lord!

Heather

That is great news!

I haven't seen that one.

I want the one that makes all the brownies an edge piece. Heck, I'll just take any brownie right now.

Mmmmm, I need to look into getting that.

See, I like the middle pieces. We can swap :thumbsup2

Every piece can be a middle piece with a little trim.

Ok ladies, it's been fun, but I gotta get ready for work. Yep, you read right, work. I'm working at my law firm tonight from 3:00 - 11:00. Haven't been in the office in about 9 months. Eeek!

Hopefully, I'll have some down time to Dis! ;)

So you are making some DLR money.....hmmmm.

Monkees
Monkees68.jpg

Ohhhh--Davy!!!!!!

She likes her coffee hot and black just like her men.

actually, I like the coffee cold (iced) and the men hot!

Good afternoon, ladies!

I am about to head home after a STRESSful day. I love my job, but there are days when I wonder what I am doing and if I am even making a difference.

Well, I can see the poor thread did not start off in the most positive atmosphere and hopefully it will just better and awesomer than it already is!

I cannot believe that the trip was barely last month. It feels like eons ago...I miss you all. I also miss the food----well, besides the chimis.:scared:

So...peace out yall. I will definitely be on tonight while I get my ChaCha-on.:surfweb:

I love when you say "peace out". For some reason that just makes me giggle.

Yeah, outside. It's called a sidewalk. :rotfl2:

No jokes even. I once had my sandal melt on the sidewalk while I was walking.

Where will everyone be staying? Can anyone with an AP tell me if the discounts for any of the on site properties are listed for October yet? If not, ballpark figure... how much do you think it would be? If someone wants to room with me who doesn't have an AP, we can split the cost at an onsite hotel?!

I'm local so I will be driving in and staying at home.

we HAVE to win. or at least do well. I just bet drinks with a friend on another team as to which team scores higher. so it's ON.

In the words of Peyton Manning.,....Its on like donkey kong!

I'm staying at HoJo's and would love to be roommates with you again. I'd love to stay on site but that will only happen if I win the lottery. :lmao:

steph

I am so sure that you enjoyed me as a roomie, I already put you down to share with me. :rotfl2: But if you win the lotto, I am shacking up with you onsite.

Shall we say margaritas at Tortilla Jo's after we kick some boo-tay. :woohoo:

;)

Heck, I think we should go even if we lose.

That sounds like a good plan. I never been there either.

Well, I'm wanting roomies, but was planning on going with the same group as this year and last year, unless you're thinking to mix it up.

Of course. I am trying to get a larger group than we had so we can do a suite or connecting two rooms. My goal is to have the most roomies that weekend.

I could most likely join you. I could bring Zoe, if kids are welcome, or skip it if not. She LOVES Splash. I won't do Grizzley, though. I don't welcome getting THAT wet with water that COLD!

Sure kids can join. Its a Tuesday though. I know Eamon will be there. DD will be in school that day and she doesn't miss so it will just be DBF and I. If Taylor wants to, I will pick her up after school, but she doens't like skipping softball.

I have such a thing for Davy Jones.

Hey Stacie... *pinch*

What is the weather gonna be like this weekend at DL?:confused3

Ok--I'll butt in and answer. Today was 101.

By Sunday it is supposed to be down to a high of 69. A 30-degree fluctuation. So come prepared for anything. :thumbsup2

Hey Miss CheryL... guess what the day is almost over:hug:

What are you going to wear to MA? meaning bottom wise... pants..jeans..pedal pushers.. grass skirt?:rotfl:

Well, if my thong is ironed I might wear that. :rotfl:

I plan on wearing this light weight army green pants. I think I might have worn them on the scavenger hunt for the ladies trip even.

If it in fact is going to be a high of 69, I will likely wear long pants, and a t-shirt, and a sweatshirt, and a jacket. (I get cold easily.)

hhhmmmmmmmmmmmm... alrighty.. i have a better idea of what to pack now:goodvibes

I'm trying to decide whether to send a box or just pack a bigger suitcase as i have a really small suitcase.:confused3

well you know me--I'd go with the box.

Always prepared--is my motto.

Hey y'all! I'm posting from work!

But shhhh, don't tell anybody! :tiptoe:

I had a dozen roses waiting for me on my desk when I got here! The firm bought all the employee's a dozen roses for Professional's Week or whatever, and since I came in today, I got roses too! Ain't that sweet?? :cloud9:

You ought to see them. They're light pink, and the tips are dark pink. Soo pretty! They remind me of Aurora! princess:

Anyway, I haven't gotten roses in years and years, so I just had to share! I know I'm going to get a line of questioning from Dan when I come home with flowers. He won't believe I actually got them from work! :rotfl:

Had a busy day at work today and missed so much...again!

Add me to the list of those who want to vie for a spot at Club33, please, please, please.princess:I also really want to eat at Minnie's - late - so we can attact FL and gather a few FP before eating brunch. I think that is an excellent plan.

Ok, BBQ for dinner on Oct 24 and Goofy's is when? The DCA party is Thurs or Fri night? Gotta keep my dates right.:thumbsup2

I am at Hojo's in Oct and will probably split my stay in Feb. I know, I know, seems like a pain, but I think Thur & Fri at Hojo's for the Meet & Greet and staying at the villas (studio) on Sat & Sun, to take advantage of EE and drive home Monday night. I can't believe we have to wait almost ten more months! But the Oct trip we have quite a few Divas, right? That will be fun, too. I just hope you guys don't mind me crashing in on some family time to hang with you.:cutie:

See I thought of that too--but thought that Fri. and Sat. made more sense at the villas because of EE the next morning. But the points--yikes! Maybe your plan is workable after all . . . . . hmmm. . . . have to think about this.

Aaawwww Callie... How Sweet! That's special.. i love when my friends get flowers!:goodvibes

Hey there Linda.. hugs.. it's good to see you! i'm looking forward to this weekend:yay:

My Mom and I decided to go in oct. her birthday is oct 23rd... so i will need to get in on what to do and things going on... but not tonight.. i'm tired.

i thought about packing but gosh i haven't even unpacked yet. :rotfl:

So, don't tell!!!!

AmySue

I thought you had your own practice!

Speaking of caffeine, I think I’m addicted to it now. Seriously!

I wouldn't know anything about caffeine addiction. I don't have to force myself to drink coffee while dreadfully sick just so I don't get a sick and wrong headache on top of the illness or anything...

MEGAN: just hope no crazed female astronauts decide to join us . . . .

One of my biggest obstacles with Ethan was to get him to understand that his disability explains why he has certain tendencies but does not excuse inappropriate behavior. When he would slide down that hill, I'd be all over him telling him it just meant that he has to work harder.

It's so good for your kids that they have you. Can you imagine if it were 5 decades ago and you guys had issues of your own that kept you from seeing problems in your kidlets? I do have :hug: for people in that hypothetical situation.

Bumber will have Eamon . . . . so Zoe is fine with me!

I'll also have Robert! Speaking of that, have I told him that we'll be having a mini-mini-meet on our trip????

********

My friend is kicking my butt with the walking-fast thing!!!! Robert and Eamon played soccer and went to the playground while S and I walked around the park, and my goodness! She is doing amazing! She says "well you have to", but seriously, many people who have liver transplants have them b/c of past behaviour (instead of a diagnosis of chronic idiopathic autoimmune hepatitis at the age of 13), and they really do NOT feel that they have to walk two times a day, going further each day, etc etc. Just like when Robert was diagnosed he was astonished at the lack of trust or believing his words on the part of the doctors, but then we were watching some TLC programs about people who are tremendously overweight and Do Not Care about diabetes or their diet etc, and he realized that he was being treated poorly b/c they had seen so many people like the people in those shows...Robert was afraid to put food in his mouth for weeks, and he knows it's very important to watch what he eats, just like Shirl knows it's important to get out walking for her recovery...but it is by no means what others feel they have to do.

Anyway, she was doing fine while I was sweating and breathing hard, and my legs felt like someone pulled the ligaments too tight...I've just recently started doing Pilates again so that's probably the reason...it was just amazing.

Then off to see our chiro who is 30 weeks pregnant, and Eamon took Robert aside and asked "what is happening to Dr Angie????" b/c of her belly. Too cute. E guessed that the baby is a boy, and that's the same guess that Angie's son has, though Angie's son thinks the baby will be named "four". :rotfl: Eamon thinks that if we have another baby we would name that baby Jaden (I have no clue where he got that name from!), and I wouldn't do that to myself (Jaden and Eamon????) so kids get crazy ideas sometimes...then again, my grandma's first child told my grandma that grandma was going to have a "girl baby named Judy", and voila, not only was she pregnant (grandma didn't know it yet), but she did have a girl, and of course she named the girl Judy (my mom). :goodvibes

*******
5/26 meet...b/c of E's birthday we will very likely start out day with a character breakfast at either Minnie's or Goofy's. Probably Minnie's, b/c we'll have access to MM, and will likely do our usual later b'fast thing.

hhhmmmmmmmmmmmm... alrighty.. i have a better idea of what to pack now:goodvibes

I'm trying to decide whether to send a box or just pack a bigger suitcase as i have a really small suitcase.:confused3

I would probably layer up with a sweatshirt and a jacket so I don't have to pack it. :)
