Girls Only Trip (old planning thread, see link to new one in 1st post)

Yay for flowers--we'll vouch for ya!

I missed him by ONE WEEK when I was in WDW--why couldn't they have put the schedule out earlier? So, what did he look like?



A grand villa sleeps 12 assuming shared beds. We're staying at my house (doing the sleepover thing) this weekend. Remember we're doing the Lilo and Stitch breakfast before MA--our reservation is at 8 a.m. If you can make one and join us that would be great! Sunday once we start playing the game we can't talk to you because there are MA spies everywhere!! And once we're doing we'll have some "free" time and then we go to the awards thingie where we have to present Little Churro. Then we'll be free again after 7 p.m.

So you are doing the Lilo and Stitch on Sunday morning? That would be fun if it could work out.

I kind of thought you couldn't talk to me. That is OK, and I understand, even though I will be sad about it. I hope if I see you, I can at least cheer you on!!

So if the Villa sleeps 12, that is about $111.00 per night or so. There are no tax or resort fees right?

If some of us were to get a room at the Grand for the AP it was this last year, it would be around 280.00 or so with tax I think. Divide that by 4 and you have, around 70.00 or so. Last Feburary I scored a room for 181.00 plus tax for a room. I'm hoping something like that comes up again for next year's trip!!

Please correct me if I am wrong on some of these pricings i have listed.

Well... If you divide the Grand Villa by rooms.. i would be interested in one room..with either 2 queens/fulls or a king... for me and my mom.
Or beds. And if you are counting on 2 to a bed.. when You figure out the rates for what let me know. So I can start savings.
It would be nice to get to stay near the other girls and yet she could still have her privacy.

If not then maybe we can look into the rates at the hotel, maybe they have a good senior rate, way to age Mom!!

I loved my little trivia contest I came up with last year, but need something different this year.

Virtual rock, paper, scissors?

Kick *** exchange gift competition?

Any ideas at all?

I wish I could just take everyone!

How about students who are too poor and too busy to do any of the other stuff? Plus, I'm really great company. You'd be missing out if I wasn't there.....really, you would.

Oh yes, Tortilla Jo's. We've eaten there a few times. It is actually really good, just expensive for what you get. They have lots of room in there and could accomodate a large group, too.

I wish I could join you ladies Sunday night. We have to leave Sunday around 2:00pm or so. We need to meet up with the rest of the family in Pomona and go home. Too bad..............

Woo...I've been for almost 30 minutes trying to catch up. Very busy day. So happy to read about the planning. I wish I was able to go on at least one of the mini-meets. I am in need of a DL pick me up.

I like the sound of an off site to Cheesecake Factory and bowling. That would be a blast with our group.

Other than I'm open to whatever. I love being at Disneyland and trying new things. I had a fun time at the Animation Academy and as long as it's there I'd like to do it too.

I hope everyone's day went well and if not I hope that tomorrow is great for everyone. I am tired but staying up to watch Heroes with Josh. Woke up this morning to Selena and Raine with Pink Eye so we ended up at the base clinic. I sat through a long meeting once I got to work and then after work I helped coach a t-ball game. Okay I'm ready for the weekend already and it's only Monday!.
