Howdy ho!

I'm done with my marathon week!! Whew!! Sometimes I can get myself into lots of trouble when I volunteer myself to death. Then life comes in the middle of it, with funerals, a very sick DIL, so I helped with the kids, and one of them was sick who threw up all over me and the kitchen. I sewed a last minute item for a raffle prize, and also was in charge of 2 dinners. One which consisted about 300 people, the other about 50, helping my DDs third grade class where I had to have 20 paper bags ripped up, crumpled up and wet, and then ironed so we could do American Indian drawings on them today, take my Mom shopping, watch DD play volleyball, teach class on Wednesday night at church. The big dinner was tonight. It was a fundraiser for Kaitlyn's volleyball teams at High School. I made about 300 brownies, made homemade dressings for the salad, sliced and buttered all the bread wrapped in foil, cut up grapes, went shopping for all of the dry goods and finally cleaned up the mess.

Tomorrow I want to be a bump on a log!!!
Night!

PS- Sorry I sound so complaining! :guilty:

Stacie - Have a fabulous trip (whether you watch TV or not;))

Mel - Your post exhausted me, I could never do it. You are one awesome woman.:goodvibes

Critabel - I don't know what your post means, but youmust love yourself:hug:

Night everyone.:cloud9: Sleep well Beth.

Happy Friday!!

Stacie I know you are probably already gone but have a BLAST!! I know you will although I don't know if I could go ALL the way there for only 2 days. What a tease! That would be hard. I would want to stay! :) Have fun and can't wait to hear how it went!!

Cristabel ((hugs)) hope you feel better!

Mel WOW! I agree with Linda WHEW! That is just a LOT! I agree take a load off and relax! Hopefully your hubby or somebody does something nice for YOU now in recognition for all you have done. You are a good mom and grandma to do all that!!

Well today I am off to meet my new doc. I have had a lot of anxiety the last week about this and hopefully it was all for naught. I am hoping that this is a good place and it is an easy transition and he doesn't give me any problems giving me my meds or my referrals back to my other docs. I am actually not even meeting my real doc as he is not in but rather meeting with a PA but I had to get in so I could get all my meds switched over. THEN I have to go to the pharmacy and hope they get it right with my new insurance since I don't even have the cards yet. My ins rep from Shane's union had to call with all the numbers.

So wish me luck cuz I just want it over with and back to the way things were and I HOPE I like this place! I was REALLY happy with my other doc and the way things were. :(

I am not working today cuz I have to mess with all this stuff and I worked wed anyway so after my apts I will just be home doing more chores and then tonight we will watch our CSI tivo and then Ghost Whisperer and FINALLY our Monsters v Aliens dvd. Then we have a soccer game tomorrow and hopefully FINALLY church on Sunday. Not too much going on this weekend. Just our normal stuff and hopefully lots of relaxation! Looking forward to that and getting REALLY excited for the oct meet! Not much longer now!! Can't wait! :)

TTYL!

Complaining? I don't think you sound complaining?

As for me--I am running off to lunch at Macaroni Grill--normally I would be happy, but it is with a friend who lost her job a few months ago and hasn't been able to find a permanent position since. I know she's going to either hint or come out and ask to work with me but #1 I really don't have the work to support her, and #2 am not sure she would be right for my practice in either event. So this is going to be stressful lunch rather than a pleasant experience I am afraid.

Dawn: I hope your event for the company is going well! Can't wait to see pics and hear how popular the crosses are! (also--hope you're feeling better!)

Later girls!

Cheryl

Hi ya Beth again. I will let you know ASAP of my plans. Of course, I have no idea at the moment what they are. :rolleyes1:laughing: Oh and I saw the Lion King in New York, so I know how good it is. That's why I'm willing to put up the money again for it. Besides, I want Dave to see it too!! :thumbsup2

Hey there girlie girl!!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their Friday. I went had cut almost 3 inches off my hair. It feels soooo much lighter now. It so needed to be done.

Beth - Can we please add Pixie Hollow to the schedule. I know there are some who are interested. Maybe add it to Sunday morning first thing? Thanks!

Oh Cheryl - that is hard. I don't envy you. We have lost touch with a few friends due to job loss. So many people are facing really hard times. I know you will be as tactful as possible and at least Macaroni Grill has good food.

Yeah for Dawn - your project is over and you worked so hard!

Have fun in Vegas, Mel.
Stacie, can't wait to see the hair - I promise I won't touch!
And I will be second in line behind Stacie at Pixie Hollow on Sunday morn.

I'm off to make dinner, spaghetti - yum.:)

Evening ladies.

Cheryl, I hope things went ok with your friend today.

Stacie, I bet your hair is adorable.

I waited in line for almost an hour to see Pixie Hollow, and even though Tinkerbell is my favorite character, there wasn't really that much to see. It was kind of a let down. My Sisters and I laughed and said, "We waited an hour to see this?" :rotfl: The moral of my story is that, I think I will skip this adventure. :rolleyes1

Last but not the least is that Kaitlyn has not been feeling well today. Kept her home from school and kept an eye on her temperature and stuff. Her temp rose, so I thought I had better call the doctor. He said all of her symptoms sound like the Swine flu. :sad2: So she just took her first dose of Tamiflu. I'd appreciate all of your prayers and thoughts. Thanks.

Melody

Just thought that I would pop on and say a quick hello. The last two weeks at work have been absolutely insane and I have barely been able to keep my head above water. In addition to the stress and major time commitment of sorority recruitment we also have 3 major cases going on with our conduct office for fraternities that have been misbehaving. One of these in particular has taken a huge toll on my staff in terms of both time and morale, but luckily today we finally had a breakthrough and now I think the group is going to cooperate. This is great news because I had started the proceedings to get our Vice President to suspend them from campus, which I didn't really want to do, but we were running out of other options.

Anyways, I am looking forward to a family weekend, but it's going to be a busy one. This afternoon Ty had his 2 year old check up and got two shots (Hib and seasonal flu). Tomorrow morning we have Gymboree and then we are going to see Toy Story in 3-D. I am 99% sure that we probably won't end up staying for Toy Story 2, but I am hopeful that Ty will sit still long enough to watch all of the first one. Then on Sunday we have tickets to see Disney Live on Stage at The Orleans. I am not exactly sure what to expect, but I hope we will all have fun!

Miss you all and wish that I had more time for the boards, but my work schedule doesn't appear to be slowing down any time soon. However, I am hoping to see Beth sometime soon for lunch and many of the rest of you in 3 weeks!
