Today is a busy one for me. I'm getting ready to take off for Vegas baby!! Yep.......Kaitlyn is well and going back to school tomorrow, and Dave and I escaped the dreaded flu. Whew!!

Hi everyone!! I hope you are all having a good day. I feel like I've been fighting a cold or something lately so I spent the whole day resting. I needed it after a fun, but busy 3 day weekend with the kids. Hopefully I won't get sick.

Stacie, welcome back!!! Glad to hear you had fun! I agree, Philharmagic needs to be at DL or DCA. It's one of my faves. I feel your pain with the humidity. It does me in. I don't know how people live in FL. It's seriously awful to deal with that heat and the humidity both. Even in the shade, you are just dripping with sweat. Ick!

I hope everyone is having a lovely Tuesday afternoon. I woke up this morning at 8:40 because I was HOT. I turned on the A/C and went back to bed and didn't get up until noon. That's what happens when you take Nyquil at 2am!
I'm feeling better, praise God. I don't have stuffy or runny nose but my throat is a bit sore and I think that's because I was probably snoring last night since my rose was stuffed up. I have very little energy and I'm pooped now and I just prepared a marinade for for my steak!

I don't know if anyone watched The Next Food Network Star but I'm using Melissa's (the winner) skirt steak recipe. My cousin's gf made it this past summer and it was amazing! I'm hoping mine turns out similar.

I'm going to watch last night's episode of Trauma and then hit the books.

I had made a list of everything I thought we would want to do and we actually did more than was on the list. No, it's not the first time there, my mom used to take us when my grandparents lived in Florida so I've been many, many times. Our family has gone there probably 5 times since the kids were born. It's just so different than DL though!!

We went to AK Sunday morning, and again for Callie, rode EE 5 times!

Well, thanks for doing those rides on my behalf, Stacie! It was almost as good as being there!

I'm so depressed. Every time I even mention the word "Disney" lately my dh gets all miffed. I'm guessing he thinks I should be content with our move to WA and never need a Disney fix again.

Don't think I'll be allowed to go anytime soon, ladies.

I just bought 2 adult 2-day park hoppers when we got to SSR. Everywhere I looked the prices were within about $5-10 and I had a Disney gift card to use which limited me on where I could buy them.

He was definitely surprised! He was so sure we were going to Cali!! We stayed at SSR, which was really nice, and I may have even convinced him that we need to buy DVC. We went to DHS Saturday morning and Epcon Saturday afternoon/evening. Just for Callie, we rode RnR 5 times!! It was so awesome! And ToT twice, but I actually think I like DCA's better. It's cool how DHS's moves through the hotel, but the drops didn't seem to be as scary, even though they weren't the same each time. Epcot was packed with F&W people, we ate at the Biergarten in Germany, since DH is German, and had a great time with the other people at our table. Then watched Illunimations and went back to our room and promptly fell asleep, we were pretty tired! We went to AK Sunday morning, and again for Callie, rode EE 5 times! Went back to the hotel and took a long nap, then went to MK for the evening, until about 11pm. They were actually open until 1am for resort guests but there's no way we would have made it that late. Saw Wishes and Mickey's Philharmigac, love that show, it needs to come to Cali!! MK seemed so small and not as many rides. So glad DL/DCA has almost all the rides we like. We did see the Nemo Musical at AK, it was cute, sort of like Aladdin but different. Also saw the Monsters Laugh show at MK, that was very funny!! All in all, it was lots of fun but over way too fast!

Now it's time to have the DVC discussion with him. He gets it now, we did talk to a DVC guy at SSR and he gave us 2 $50 gift cards just for talking to him, so that covered some of my shopping.

The worst part about the weekend was the temperature and humidity! Saturday it was 90 degrees and about 65% humidity, Sunday it was about 90 and 70% humidity and Monday (we went to DTD) it was 90 and almost 80% humidity!! Coming from Arizona, we were so uncomfortable. Good thing all those inside buildings and shows are air conditioned!!

I have a few pictures, but did the Photopass, which I can add to our Photopass for October.

Can't wait until next week to see everyone!!

Damn Im jealous. Well, except for the humidity part. yikes!

I wasn't there last trip, and yes I know what you're talking about. You are naughty, Stacie.

We're leaving for Laughlin on Thursday! Boy do we ALL need a vacation! DBF, Mom, Dad and I are going. We'll be back next Tuesday! I'll be checking in tomorrow (I have to WORK! EW!). I really don't know if the hotel we're staying at has Wifi, so I'm debating if I should bring my laptop. Maybe I'll call the hotel and ask.
