I'm so mad!

Since I left my cellphone in my car at the Fullerton metrolink station this weekend, I had to use the payphone twice to call my family. Instead of calling collect I used my debit card because the sticker on the phone said for 5 minutes it only cost $0.50. I just checked my account online and there are two charges of $20 from a company called Custom Teleconnect. I went to their website and sure enough they own *11

I called their contact number but of course it's not open. So I left a very serious voicemail and proceeded to contact WAMU/Chase. The guy said they can't do anything about it because it's still processing. It shows up as "pending" on my account. He said I have to call that company and have them send a code to WAMU/Chase to clear the charge. So while I was googling Custom Teleconnect a dozen websites came up with tags like "Teleconnect a scam!" "Teleconnect overcharged me" and I'm just thinking

So I reported them to the BBB.
They better give me my $39. I don't mind paying for the $0.50 for each call but NO WAY IN HE** am I giving them $40 for a total of 4 minute talk time.

Not much going on for me. Just my usual date with the ol laundry basket and plan to do my workout today. I also plan to watch my tivo of DWTS. Otherwise that's bout it. It's finally gotten chilly here but I am not complaining. I have been looking forward to cooler weather!

To everybody else--good morning!!!!!! I have a busy three days ahead of me, as usual. Plus my laptop is on the fritz, so Marty took it to get looked at. And to top it all off, I washed his blackberry, which was in his pants pocket, over the weekend. So now we have to go phone shopping, too!!!!!

i got sick thursday.. and today is the first day i think i'm going to live.. so that makes me down for 5 days.. the CDC site says

How long can an infected person spread this virus to others?
People infected with seasonal and 2009 H1N1 flu shed virus and may be able to infect others from 1 day before getting sick to 5 to 7 days after. This can be longer in some people, especially children and people with weakened immune systems and in people infected with the new H1N1 virus.

What should I do if I get sick?
If you live in areas where people have been identified with 2009 H1N1 flu and become ill with influenza-like symptoms, including fever, body aches, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, nausea, or vomiting or diarrhea, you should stay home and avoid contact with other people. CDC recommends that you stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone except to get medical care or for other necessities. (Your fever should be gone without the use of a fever-reducing medicine.) Stay away from others as much as possible to keep from making others sick.Staying at home means that you should not leave your home except to seek medical care. If you have severe illness or you are at high risk for flu complications, contact your health care provider or seek medical care. Your health care provider will determine whether flu testing or treatment is needed.

Welcome back Stacielee How was your trip?

Melody.. You and Your rockstar polished toes have a super great time in vegas and enjoy shopping, eatting yummy things and seeing Lion King!

He was definitely surprised! He was so sure we were going to Cali!! We stayed at SSR, which was really nice, and I may have even convinced him that we need to buy DVC. We went to DHS Saturday morning and Epcon Saturday afternoon/evening. Just for Callie, we rode RnR 5 times!! It was so awesome! And ToT twice, but I actually think I like DCA's better. It's cool how DHS's moves through the hotel, but the drops didn't seem to be as scary, even though they weren't the same each time. Epcot was packed with F&W people, we ate at the Biergarten in Germany, since DH is German, and had a great time with the other people at our table. Then watched Illunimations and went back to our room and promptly fell asleep, we were pretty tired! We went to AK Sunday morning, and again for Callie, rode EE 5 times! Went back to the hotel and took a long nap, then went to MK for the evening, until about 11pm. They were actually open until 1am for resort guests but there's no way we would have made it that late. Saw Wishes and Mickey's Philharmigac, love that show, it needs to come to Cali!! MK seemed so small and not as many rides. So glad DL/DCA has almost all the rides we like. We did see the Nemo Musical at AK, it was cute, sort of like Aladdin but different. Also saw the Monsters Laugh show at MK, that was very funny!! All in all, it was lots of fun but over way too fast!

Now it's time to have the DVC discussion with him. He gets it now, we did talk to a DVC guy at SSR and he gave us 2 $50 gift cards just for talking to him, so that covered some of my shopping.

The worst part about the weekend was the temperature and humidity! Saturday it was 90 degrees and about 65% humidity, Sunday it was about 90 and 70% humidity and Monday (we went to DTD) it was 90 and almost 80% humidity!! Coming from Arizona, we were so uncomfortable. Good thing all those inside buildings and shows are air conditioned!!

I have a few pictures, but did the Photopass, which I can add to our Photopass for October.
