Does anyone use Ryze Mushroom Coffee and if you do, the purpose. Is it helping you? Did you notice a difference/right away/a few weeks later.

My sister told me she starting mixing it with her regular coffee and did start to feel a difference with bloating/focusing. I have just started myself. One pro it helps with sleep and then in the cons - can cause insomnia (I don't sleep as it is).

I will use it until I finish the small bag - I also mix it with my regular coffee cup in the morning. I hope I notice a difference, it is $$.

I know we can all have different results but curious if it's all bs. TIA

My daughter got some of the hot cocoa kind, had it for a bit but then abandoned it because nothing changed. I tried it, that stuff did was not easy to drink, it tasted a lot like how I think mud would taste.

I like mushrooms a lot though, couldn't understand why she couldn't just eat some mushroom mix with scrambled eggs every morning or over other proteins where the taste matches better.

FYI, this is the mix I got on a search: Cordyceps, Lion’s Mane, Reishi, Turkey Tail, Shiitake, King Trumpet

I tried it and didn't like it, it was more Instagram hype than anything else (I am a sucker for Instagram ads). It didn't taste very good, to me it was like bad instant coffee, definitely not like good brewed coffee. It did kind of taste like what I imagine a dirt drink would taste like. I canceled my subscription and threw away all the extra stuff they sent (didn't need more clutter). I didn't feel any differently, either. I do think some of the supposed benefits are "what you make of it" AKA placebo effect. Not for me.

Thank you @LuvOrlando and @Mle8308.

My DIL did not like it. She threw away the opened bag and gave me her closed one when I mentioned I was going to buy it at Target. My sister adds it to her regular coffee which is what I am doing. Definitely does not taste great - but I am also getting used to using Soy Milk right now. I mentioned to my primary if there was anything I can try/natural over the counter for hot flashes. They are all so quick to prescribe a pill - she mentioned try adding soy to my diet. So it's soy yogurt here and there and Soy milk for now. My coffee definitely does not taste so great right now :teeth:

If I don't notice a difference, I will definitely not purchase another bag.

Thank you!

How can something help with sleep while causing insomnia?

I have zero interest in the latest fad. I like coffee, have a few cups in the morning. Coffee has a lot of health benefits.

Try black cohosh, it's a natural supplement, for hot flashes. My co-worker, who is into herbal medicines/all natural stuff, swears by it. You can research it!

Hot flashes stink, I am getting them from autoimmune issues. The best way I have found to manage is to always wear layers, a cami then short sleeve and then a cardigan, sweater or hoodie on top so undressing isn't a scene:rotfl2:

The kind of cold packs that snap and freeze helped a lot particularly early on - migraine or hot flash, no-one knows :scratchinplus migraine beanie helps with both. I also have fans, lots of fans everywhere. I also have a pair of Jilsulife neck fans that got from Costco. I used these all last summer while walking the dog and which I used while at Universal, IOA and EPIC last week, they make such a difference. I stopped all caffeine when the menopause / autoimmune saga really got going, it seems to stir my body up like a swarm of bees and switching to decaf helped slow down how twitchy things got.

I never touched hormones because of breast cancer in the family. Some Dr's now say it doesn't matter but I am skeptical about trusting the pharmas telling me how ok medicine is for me, like they care or would own it if it is bad. I now know I am BRCA2 and am glad I never touched anything since stopping birth control pills at around age 28 when the stroke risk jumped according to the leaflets, family also has strokes so I want nothing to do with any of it. Not judging people who go that way but I understand women who don't want to touch meds and I am one of them.

Yes, the flashes stink but it is what it is, life goes on.

I suppose if I really wanted something natural to assist I would add soy to my diet, seems safe enough and easy to add into a diet

I have mentioned it to my doctor and he said no. /we have breast cancer history - not sure if this is why. He did prescribe something but after googling - I would rather not. I know everything has side effects. I am going to goole it. Have not done it in a long time. I can ask my primary also (she recommended the soy) rather than the gyn. Thank you.

I know - a lot of things a list of side effects have the same pros and cons. But what might work for someone, might not work for someone else. Certain things I am willing to try.
