Cheryl, I'm sorry about the surgery being postponed! That sucks. Has she tried a different pain med? I work on an ortho unit right now, and some people have trouble with one but are ok with another. I hope she gets some relief over this long weekend. Oh, and I don't get the holiday thing! We did surgeries on Christmas day for goodness sakes! I feel so bad for her.

Heather and Cristabel: thank you for our thoughts of Brandy. Due to scheduling difficulties and the holiday on Monday they have postponed the surgery until TUESDAY. I can't believe it--it will be 8 days after the accident. She is in a lot of pain and the pain meds make her throw up so she's not taking them.

That is just nuts. It is crazy how Dr.'s do things.
Has she called them to get something different?

Cheryl- Sorry you've been so stressed out & I hope Brandy gets some pain meds that work for her. That's awful that they're making her wait that long . You'd think they'd want to hurry and fix it before it starts to set the wrong way??

Vicki- Have a great time at WDW. I've been having withdrawls lately, but I think it will be awhile before I make it back .

Heather- Happy to hear you are starting to feel a little better. It sucks to be pregnant & sick.

We're celebrating Adara's 13th birthday on Saturday. She's officially going to be a teenager eventhough she's been acting like one for over a year . We're not really doing much since I'm still on a strict budget. I'm making the food (tacos) & the cake to help cut cost. Then we are only inviting a couple of her friends & some of my family.

Then we might go to Disneyland on Sunday. One of her friends has an AP so we'll probably end up bringing her.

First of all to Cheryl. That is horrid about Brandy!! I just can't believe they would put her off so long. Don't the muscles and tendons start to heal right away around the injury? Will they have to undo that too? Just bad! Please tell her she is in my prayers to get better now! I'm also bummed about your leg. Hmm? I sincerely hope you feel much better real soon. Especially for our trip!

I just have to announce that yesterday our booth pulled in $59,719.00 yesterday alone!! That's alot of food!

Well gooooood morning!

2 weeks until we LEAVE! And tomorrow is FRIDAY! WOOOOOO!

That is so exciting!! I love going to filmings. I really want to get tickets to see Ellen.

You never know how traffic is going to be up there. I would be shocked if it only took 40 minutes, especially in the afternoon!

Then Ellen had Michael Buble' on....whom I LOVE too!! Sheesh...all I needed was a show with Wynonna on and it would have been a music love trifecta!! LOL

Oy, I didn't think about traffic. We'll be in LA, doh. I just don't want us to be late for the M&G!

Oh I just Michael Buble. He is SO HOTT! Sigh. Love. It's love.

Oh and my Mom has been trying to get tickets to Ellen for ages. So far, no luck.

Hi ladies!

I am home, eating sushi and having a cup of tea. It has been a LONG day. Having Brandy gone from the office is difficult to say the least.

On top of that--I've got a really bad muscle issue in my left thigh--it started a couple of weeks ago (Stacielee was it bothering me when you were here?) and has just not gotten better despite Advil and some stronger prescription stuff. I went the massage therapist/chiro last week and thought it would get better. But it didn't. So I went tonight again and am hoping it gets better. I have no idea what I did, but I'm sure all of the stress of the last week hasn't helped.

Yesterday our family doc called and said my Mom's blood tests had revealed that she had a bacterial infection when she went to the hospital last week called peptostreptococchus (not sure of the spelling). So that's what caused the fever. They had sent her home with antibiotics and she feels much better. Not sure how she got it.

so other than that I'm going to bed soon!

Prayers to everyone who needs them and 15 more days!

Poor Brandy. That's terrible she has to wait for her surgery. I can't imagine the pain she's in. I'll be saying prayers for her.

Courtney - you might call to see how long the taping runs. It could be three hours. And your mapquest doesn't take rush hour into account. Maybe you'll get lucky and it will run shorter. YOu won't need a ticket that day.

I think I will call, Donna. It just bugs me not having a plan (crazy OCD or something). And yeah, I didn't think about traffic. Duuuh.

Tell her to call her doctor and get something for nausea (phenagran is a good one). I had to do that when I took my migraine medicine because it made me sick and it helped a lot.

Morning Divas!!!

Yay for the fact that Beth and I will be zooming towards Anaheim and should even be in CA by this time 2 weeks from now.

Boo for everything that I have to do to get ready for the trip including making my hoodie and tie dye shirt, putting my pillowcase together, ditto for nametags for the scavvy hunt, etc. Oh and I get to work extra hours Tuesday-Friday of next week due to the colonization of our new sorority. Luckily this is a 3 day weekend--as far as the to do list goes, if it isn't done by Monday night, it's probably not happening!
