Molly, I am must say you had me cracking up about your hubby. Does he read the stuff here?![]()
He doesn't, but he knows he could. My username and password are saved, so he could come in any time.
He would most likely crack up (unless hungry or over-tired). It's an ongoing conversation we have. We actually just had a talk about it, while watching Scrubs the other night...JD takes what he thinks is a pretty little intern under his wing, and she turns out to be a rough-talking tomboy with absolutely no empathy. And JD is a very sensitive character...they had a whole role-reversal conversation, and as she said she finds emotions impossible to get into and she doesn't like feeling "open", she got this look on her face...hubby looked over and I was totally feeling what she was saying, and I guess I had the exact same expression on my face, and of course I am very much like that with adults (with kids I'm empathetic but once your'e a grownup I have a hard time expressing emotions), and he just laughed and laughed. And laughed some more.
We're well aware of our faults inside our relationship. And unless *someone* is feeling sensitive, cough cough, we're fine talking about it with just about anyone.
Oh, and I got into the online world during wedding planning, which quickly turned to "dude he left me while I was at work", then "oh wow he's having counseling to get his head back on straight", then "we're having couples counseling", and then back to wedding planning...when he took off, he actually gave me his laptop (brand new) because he knew I would need my online friends to help me through. Online people have saved me time and time again, so if there is ANYONE I can say that sort of thing to, it's all you online, pretending-to-be-female, "big galoots"!
