Hello Ladies,
As you may have read, Audra and Dylan would prefer not to take the time to do the VIP tour due to unexpected guests arriving from out of town who they would like to visit with. So, this creates a unique opportunity for our completely booked tour.

It is going to be an absolutely fabulous tour, and it is one that is a minimum of 6 hours and ends up being $750. So, since that is more than my family spends on the hotel for the week, it is unlikely that we would ever do this tour as a family. But, with 10 of us ladies doing it, it is a mere $75 per person (plus tip) which makes this magical experience will within reach of the old budget.

Hello Everyone:
We are getting ready to book the VIP tour. We have 6 hours as a minimum, but can pay for extra hours if we want to. My vote is for the 6, but do speak up, if you want to do something different. Majority will rule. Tour Date is Friday, March 6th 10-4. We will arrive full, and grab a corndog or a skewer to tide us over until dinner.

In addition, while we tour we will get all the insider info from the guide,(and we will ask for a copy of the notes to take as a souvenir) whom shall gather fast passes for us while we ride and shop and tour.

I'm going through the intinerary and figuring out what I want to do during the trip. And I started wondering who's going to have an Early Entry to use? I was looking at the schedule and those of us going to the breakfast on Saturday won't be able to use it then, so who's going on Sunday?

Also I missed Aladdin last year and I am going to go this year. Anyone else planning on going?

Actually, I am sure that we will not all be doing all of the above and I am sure that I won't be doing all of the above, and I think that those of us going on the DVC tour won't be able to make the Beignets and maybe not the 9:00 Fantasmic, so maybe we will have some of us at the 10:00 Fantasmic. Hmm...I wonder when New Orleans Cafe closes?

Oh my gosh, I can hardly wait. Hope we don't come up with any more stuff to squeeze into Friday!

I hope they give us a Tour of the Dream Suite! I am sooooo excitted.. each day my Mom and I talk about the triP!

I was looking on southwest.. and you are able to book hotels ..through there. i am not sure which HOJO's you all are staying at.

Here is some info i found.. it can't hurt to share it.. if you are not staying at these hotels..then no harm no foul..if you are.. maybe it's less.

That is really cool of you to post this info. I think Lorealle at Hojo was able to give us a good rate...I am not 100% sure.

I am not sure where all these hotels are, but I do know that Norco is a pretty good distance away. That is where I am from...I want to say it is about 25-30 miles away from Disneyland.

Where are you staying at?

well.. since i'm bringing my mother.. she likes to take the shuttle to the park.. and while she loves to walk walk alllllllllllll over the park.. she likes it simple and short to the room.. so we are staying where we always stay.. at the holiday inn on walnut. i went back and forth between staying at HoJo's and at Holiday Inn.. and in the end i chose the familiar for my mother.

I don't know where any of those places are either! Yet they were a few that came up on the southwest.. hotel..anaheim..search...for those dates.

Hey Dawn--those other Hojo's are all actually pretty far away. We are staying at the Hojo closest to the park with an absolutely awesome rate. Plus the party is there, so I think we're all good! Thanks.

I too was looking forward to meeting Audra and Dylan, but I understand their situation. (I think they are still coming to the ladies trip, but just not doing the tour because of the big time commitment???)

Anyhoo....We have one lady that has stepped up and indicated she would like to do the tour. DO WE HAVE ANOTHER TAKER???

I think some of us on the tour have a later seating than 4:20 for Carnation Cafe so don't think I will be able to make the Alladin at 5:45 (which is ok because I've seen it too--and may go some other time on the weekend). Tracey--not to make life more complicated (but I will) but last time on the VIP tour we were able to have VIP seating at times other than during the actual tour--is that possible here? For example, we had the right to go to a special area for seeing the Pixar Parade in DCA--but it was the day after the tour I believe. Don't know--they might have changed the policy.

I was gonna say.....hope no one has to pee!! There's no time!!

Just a word of warning, seating at CC can be sloooooowwww, even with a PS. In October we had a PS, checked in a few minutes early and it still took almost 20 minutes for us to get to our table. I had to ask what was taking so long! She told me they didn't have any clear tables for six yet and were waiting for some diners to finish so they could seat us.

I know you said you probably won't do everything but I just wanted to pass that along.

$194.00 for 3 nights.
$65.00 per night

That's a 20 dollar a night savings on what the rate was they had me booked at.

I don't know anything about directions or streets in the area.. i was just passing along what seemed like some good deals.

Anyone been to the Sam Andreas Shakes in DCA? We used to go there every trip. Didn't make it on the last one so I was looking forward to going this time. They have really good date shakes.
Anyway, I checked their menu on Allears and it was recently updated, but the list of shakes is gone off of it!
Does that mean they took away the shakes????
