Girls Only Disneyland Trip - Old Thread

I wish!!! I've been going over my packing list tonight and I didn't think it was possible, but mine is longer then January's!!!

Amy and Jane are going to tie me to the roof because there won't be any room left in the car, and January and Capri are going to kick me out on the balcony.

My list is long. And I would offer you up some room with us, but really, I think we will be at full capacity. I may have to store some stuff with Cheryl and Molly.

I agree. What were they thinking?? And an expert?? Please.



I don't think any diaper company or car company is going to help her now. Her story is too controversial now.
And speaking of paying, the hospital bill for those babies is projected to reach over 3 million dollars!!!!

I think that might be 3 million for each baby. I have seen premie babies costing more than a million for a month of care. I am sure that 3 million has to be for each one, not total. And that is not including the care the mother has gotten until now. The story I read was that she just showed up at Kaiser one day. And they had to treat her.

Hey, this thread is at page 200 already!! I give it another week or so before it's time to start a new one.

Ok, so I got to thinking how unfair life is sometimes. I woke up with a huge zit on my cheek today. How unfair is that? Especially since I was looking for new wrinkle cream this weekend. Zits and wrinkles? You know God must have a humor for that to happen.

Compiled from news dispatches February 3, 2009 The mother of the world's longest-living octuplets is being deluged with offers for book deals, TV shows and other business proposals, but has not decided what she might do other than care for her children, her newly hired spokeswoman said yesterday. Hundreds of requests have been made since Nadya Suleman gave birth to six boys and two girls a week ago, said Joann Killeen, president of Killeen Furtney Group, a public relations company. But Suleman, who remained hospitalized with her children yesterday at Kaiser Permanente's Bellflower Medical Center in Bellflower, Calif., hasn't decided what she'll do next, Killeen said. Some of the deals and requests for interviews involve offers to pay, said Killeen and her partner, Mike Furtney. They didn't reveal amounts being offered. Suleman, a 33-year-old single mother, already had six children, ages 2 to 7, when she gave birth to her octuplets on Jan. 26.

Well, I wasted my entire day yesterday trying to get in on the $1 hotel promotion. Yep, I was one of the suckers that stayed up until past midnight thinking that at any minute the clock would start ticking......any minute now......just one more minute......it's gonna happen any second now.....

Nope. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

What a ripoff! Not doing it again! What a dope I am!

Anyway, I'm going to call Disney Dining this morning to try to add one more to my 5:00pm CC reservation. Hopefully it'll be easy-peasy.

I've got to go get our kids ready for school first though. I'll be back soon.

Me, too! Although in a more passive mode. I did my normal stuff and had our laptop running next to me wherever I went. NOTHING!! People are really upset, to say the least. Oh well, I've got my laptop next to me again, just on the off chance it starts up again.

I don't like Tuesdays. It's my least favorite day of the week.

Anyway, our trip is getting closer - we are almost at the one month mark!

And I agree about that crazy lady who now has 14 children. I hope she doesn't get one thin dime, but you know she will. I personally will not buy anything related to her or her story. She has some serious mental issues.

Got my taxes done-- thank you Turbo Tax!

Minnesota taxes were simple, answered a few questions and it was done. California had screen after screen after screen of long lists of questions. It was part year resident.. that made it a tad more messy.. but oh my! Headache inducing!

Moving seriously bites.. especially if you move two years in a row.

Happy to have it done and will get a good return to pay off everything but the car -- ahhhh that feels good.

And other happy news.. DH's school and union agreed to change to the performance pay plan, slightly higher salary.. which means back pay for this school year. Which amounts to ummm a few more meals at McDonald's in one month. Or more for me to enjoy at DL.

Have I told you we believe in a weird karma? We help out someone or donate to a charity, we get back double in return.

I did that too! Ruben even brought home dinner so I didn't have to cook and brought me mine so I could eat in front of the computer. lol I will not do it that again ever.

Morning all. So did anyone go to Dennys today? We did. It only took us an hour but we got our free Grand Slam! The tv stations were there and everything and Lynn's school had all the kids but the sophomores off school till 11 a.m. cuz of the high school exit exams and so there was about a million teenie boopers there but one of them told Lynn they saw her on tv which makes me wonder if I was on cuz I was standing right next to her. ACK! I was wearing sweats and no makeup. BLEH!

But anyway funnygarcia I just wanted to let you know that here in CA we are supposed to be getting IOU's for our refunds. Were you aware of that? I am sure we will get them EVENTUALLY but I just wanted to let you know. I am REALLY wanting mine too.

Tell me about it. And then they said they wouldn't even pay interest until 45 days AFTER April 15th. LAME!!! I tell you if WE owed THEM it sure wouldn't be that way Eh!
