OK. I am going to take the next 30 minutes and unpack from my last trip. I think if I can get past that hurdle, I can begin to think about packing for this weekend.

Here I go...
For real...
Don't stop me...

(does anyone have a dragging your feet smiley? if so, I need to stick one right here)

Biggest of Hugs for Theresa!!!
Oh I'm so glad you had a happy day.. i thought about you several times today!:goodvibes
I love the plaza too... we go in the evenings, my mom and i get the chicken and i always end up taking some back to the room. It's alot of food for the money.

Thank You both for the help with the weather link.

So we are looking forward to a bit of rain on friday and sunday. That seems to be alot better than everyday like before:rotfl:

That was actually my first step too. I had to unpack my suitcase from my trip 3 weeks ago before I could pack anything for this weekend!

And, I am also procrastinating, which is why I am posting here rather than gathering everything I need to go on this trip.

Oh, and can I just say how weird it feels to only have to pack for myself and not for Ty too? I keep thinking about toys, and sippy cups and all sorts of things that I don't actually need this weekend!

Theresa, I'm glad you got to DLR in one piece! Congrats on your solo flight.
And thanks so much for warming up the boyfriend for us. You're a real friend!:) See you Thursday!

If it rains on Friday, we may be in a bit of trouble. I'm pretty sure they close the Carnation Cafe if it rains, since it is all outdoor seating. So we may have to come up with a Plan B. Maybe Rancho for some Mexican food?

That's as close as I could find to a dragging your feet smiley.:goodvibes

Hello!!!! It is almost time!! I will be arriving on Thursday in the AM sometime, I know others will be as well, who?

Since we don't get the cell phone list until Thursday night, how do we meet up?

I am sure all of this has been covered, but I am too lazy and unfocused to figure it out.

I have done close to zilch planning for this thing, here you all are dying your hair, making packing lists and all.

I thought I'd pack Thursday morning. perhaps I am taking this all a bit too lightly??

I have been a busy little bee making "favors" for my roomies, so that shows planning, yes??

I will see you all soon!!!! Hopefully I will find the time tomorrow to get a tiara, kind of forgot, and so far this week have already worked 21 hours. Ugh, not feeling the love.

Cheers, and hurrah for our trip!!!!

It is a great group! :goodvibes

Dumb Aunt Flo!! She's always shows up when she's least welcome.

I DO NOT LIKE AUNT FLO!!!!!!!
SHE DECIDED TO VISIT TODAY!!!!:sad2:

I'm afraid Aunt Flo is going to decide to room with me and Molly. Sigh--she should have visited last weekend, but with all the stress with my Mom I think it scared her away. Sigh--maybe she'll just decide not to visit me this month . . . . . it's happened before.

Oh, and my Mom's 84-year old sister is mad because I called my cousin and his wife to give updates to them about my Mom rather than HER. Of course, nevermind that I don't even have her phone number. I guess she told my Mom that I never ever have to call her again. (fine with me!) Think we're going through a second childhood and throwing tantrums??????

I've started packing the car already--have Tina's candy, the margarita mix and the tequila. Do we really need anything else?

Have I told y'all before that I am a total jinx when it comes to Carnation Cafe? I cannot tell you how many times we have been rained out of our reservations there. Particularly for breakfast reservations (still haven't managed to make it happen due to rain), but I have been rained out of dinner a multitude of times as well.

If we DO get rained out, I would think that Rancho would be a good meeting spot as people could also hit Stage Door Cafe or Riverbelle Terrace if they don't groove on the Mexican, or don't trust their stomach to handle Mexican at a theme park like me!

Unpacking...OK, I have three Castaway Club lanyards with plastic ticket holders. Anyone want these before I toss them?

Also have Castaway Club pencil holder with small pencils and stencil for kids. These were giveaways on the cruise.

Going going....

It might be even better than that. According to my resource, no rain for
Sunday. (but things could change...)

To Theresa:

Thanks. I like the McD's plan also because it won't take out precious DL time!

Sounds like a great plan B to me. I like Rancho.:thumbsup2

If they are not taken, I could use a lanyard, seem to lose mine each trip. I've even been to Castaway Cay, so I wouldn't even be putting on airs!!!

Thanx.

I totally agree. I think it is stress if you hold on too tight. You have to loosen up and go with the action and then it is a blast. I too could ride it all day. Hey, maybe I will:)

That's how I ride it too. I don't hold on *at all*. The one time I held on, I limped off just like my extremely thing and fit (and younger) brother and SIL do from that ride. I actually think it adjusts my spine, when I ride it relaxed. :)

Whoops.....forgot to pack underwear. Good thing I realized this before I left on the trip.:rolleyes1

Oh thank goodness. On a "girls trip" I took to San Diego last November, one of the women forgot underwear and *didn't go buy any*. Just went commando the whole time AND talked about it.

I have been a busy little bee making "favors" for my roomies, so that shows planning, yes??

Aw man...we've got people making food for their families, buying presents for their children, and you're making things for your roomies???? I am THE suckiest person on this trip! Augh.

Oh no, poor you! Though poor auntie, too, b/c she's probably scared. But gosh, if your mom didn't give you her sister's phone number, and you ARE calling that aunt's grown child so the info IS getting to her...she's got to chill. I'm sure that when something happens to my MIL that's how the Korean family will be. She will not give us any of their info, and since Korean culture is Korean culture, Robert and his sibs don't even know the NAMES of their uncle and aunts, so it will be completely impossible.

If we DO get rained out, I would think that Rancho would be a good meeting spot as people could also hit Stage Door Cafe or Riverbelle Terrace if they don't groove on the Mexican, or don't trust their stomach to handle Mexican at a theme park like me!

Plaza might be a choice as well. But both have yummy kid's meals I am a fan of (penne pasta or bean burrito!) so it's no skin off my nose.
