Good news, the baby is off the breathing tube and feeding tube. She is breathing room air, and my friend was able to hold her and feed her with a bottle. She is getting stronger and has been stable. My friend and her DH took a CPR class and were taught a few things to prepare when they take her home. If all goes well, she will be sent home in a few days. Thank you again to everyone who prayed and sent good thoughts to her.

I can honestly say, although I've never met them or their baby, I'm relieved to hear this.

That's awesome news! I am so glad to hear this. Maybe it's just my hormones kickin' in as my baby will turn one and a half while we're on the trip, but I just can't fathom what an emotional rollercoaster you and your BFF have been on for the past few weeks. Hopefully this is the beginning of happily ever after!

I would need a schedule of where to meet people. I have to be away from parks from 4 to 7 pm. I have sensory issues and tend to hide over on disAbilities boards at disboards. Because of my hypersensitivity I would need things spelled out so I do not get befuddled. Are there going to be any ECV races? I have been away from parks for 3+ years and am looking forward to honey popcorn, dole whips, Fantasyland, Tower of Terror again, all of DCA except the front part, and Pooh. I need to see Innoventions and ToonTown again and my be brave enough to do Barnstormer.

My car is old but if you need anything let me know. It is dirty, rusted but it stops, goes and turns on a man hole cover.

I hope Amy and Jane know what a bawling mess they are going to be picking up on Thursday.......

My DD can't wait for me to go. She got up this morning and was like...."you're still here?" Her grandparents are gonna spoil her and give in to her at every chance.

I'll hold your hand if you hold mine. I have literally spent 10 nights away from Ty since he was born 18 months ago. That's a total of aroung 540 days (give or take a few) and I have spent 530 of them with him. And, all 10 that I have been away for have been work related. This is a big step for me to leave him by choice, and I am sure that I will be missing him too, especially on Sunday which is his 18 month birthday.

My only consolation is that unlike many of the other ladies kids, Ty can't tell me how much he's going to miss me while I'm gone... But, I also know that he and Dave will have a fun weekend being boys without me, and I know that Ruben & your kids will have a great time too!

QueenDoOver (I don't know why I'm addicted to using usernames instead of names), I'm sure at SOME point he'll find out...I mean, he was with me when I picked up the shirt from the cleaners when they put the lovely transfer that some lovely and talented Dis'er made for me...and hubby's pretty much said it in front of him.

That's what happened in November too, when I was on my Madonna/San Diego girl's trip (aka trip of commando-woman and old friend forgetting she's married entirely) and ran away at 5am to take the train up to Anaheim, instead of hanging out for the day and going to the airport with the rest of them (the Yakima contingent chartered a plane, fa-fa, fa-fa), so I could do a wild not-even-one-full-day trip...he didn't know where I had been that day until later...and he was informed while being given presents from DLR. Took the sting out of it.

About a month ago, I bought the cutest little Tinkerbell backpack at Walmart. It's not a regular size backpack......it's little.....but perfect for just me and my stuff. Her wings are even sparkly......so CUTE!

I think I saw it tonight; I almost bought it. I ended up buying a No Boundaries lepoard print mini backpack

3. I am so sad that Cristabel left The Monkey Brides to go be a Mouseketeer! She didn't even wait to meet us before being scared off JK...

4. I am READY to be at Disneyland! So jealous that Theresa is already there and that Callie is on her way/already in CA. I wish I could fast forward time and make tomorrow be over already!!!

Hello!!!! It is almost time!! I will be arriving on Thursday in the AM sometime, I know others will be as well, who?

Since we don't get the cell phone list until Thursday night, how do we meet up?

I am sure all of this has been covered, but I am too lazy and unfocused to figure it out.

I have done close to zilch planning for this thing, here you all are dying your hair, making packing lists and all.

I thought I'd pack Thursday morning. perhaps I am taking this all a bit too lightly??

I have been a busy little bee making "favors" for my roomies, so that shows planning, yes??


I will see you all soon!!!! Hopefully I will find the time tomorrow to get a tiara, kind of forgot, and so far this week have already worked 21 hours. Ugh, not feeling the love.

And my water will have a bit extra taste, b/c I picked up this stuff called True Lemon. It's like the idea of the Crystal Light packets, but it's basically just crystalized lemon, no artificial sweeteners in it. I'd never even seen it, because it's kept next to the artificial sweeteners, but then from a post last week from a Disneyland groom I found Disneyworld groom's ceremony report, and from there I found a totally separate Disneyworld bride's blog, and she doesn't do artificial sweeteners either, and she had a write-up about the product! I was intrigued and it's pretty good! Hubby got a different one, True Orange, but I don't know if it's tried it yet.

I've tried that before, it's pretty good! It helps give you a little taste when you don't want plain water.

My brother had a little chihuahua and his name was Fernando. We used to joke that the name was bigger than the dog.

As some may have already known, DBF and I are back together. We talked and talked and talked some more. We worked things out. Well, wasn't much to work out, but we are good now. And because of that he has decided that he wants to take me somewhere as a surprise. I usually always plan our trips, but he wants to do this one. Just a small two day overnight thing. So next weekend he will be surprising me. I have no idea where we will be going. Any guesses?

this morning, Chris (the hangout guy, the date thats not a date), his car was Saran Wrapped when he went to leave for work!!

It had been raining pretty hard so he said that he was pretty soaked. Well he thought that it was this crazy bird lady from poker. But it ended up being 2 of our friends. I laughed so hard when he told me!! I told him that if it was the Bird Lady, there would have feathers or something stuck to the saran wrap.....I am still laughing at it...I have re-read the myspace message like 10 times!!!!!

I think its hilarious. When I went to cheer camp we used to wrap people into their rooms. We would cover the doorway with newspaper or wrapping paper, then when they would open it in the morning, they were "trapped". I love that prank.
