Well, you know how we are in Vegas. One good time after another.

And it still ends up on the internet. So much for "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make though, because I trust I wont be the only one acting like a fool.

Fairykin - Love your new avatar! There was a group at MouseAdventure the year before I attended and their mascot was a bunch of churro's dressed up! The following year I heard they did plastic dole whips dressed up.

Does anyone know if the new Thunder Ranch area will still be doing that Celebration meal thing during our next trip?
If so, that might be a fun thing to add to our meals. I know I'd be up for trying it out. I'm always on the look out for something new and fun to add to our list of activities.

I don't know if it will be there, but isn't 2010 the 55th anniversary of DL? I think they're doing something for that...

This reminded me of an email I got last night. A woman I used to do scrapbooking with up in WA got married last night. And it was broadcast live from Vegas!!! It was actually pretty cool to see her & her now DH waving to the camera as they exited the chappel. www.702wedding.com

If 4 ladies shared a room at the DLH they could get the hotel benefits and do it for about $200 or less for 4 nights. I know some divas are on a tight budget but if I was staying I would go for the on site hotel and do MM.

You could walk across the street and enter DCA via the GCH. It is about .3 miles walk to the main entrance or take the Monorail. Centrally located for breakfasts with characters as well as fine dining.

Only 30 minutes? It usually takes me much longer to catch up.

So we're off to go to a cooking demo at a kitchen showroom tonight. I want to see how they run it. Maybe it is something we could do to supplement the ol' income.

You know me and shacking up....I'm down. I'm "ethnic", we know how to get a lot of people into one room. And if we are talking suite....sweet! But yeah, I'm up for splitting a family suite with a group.

They do offer a group rate. When I called they couldn't tell me what it would be for that far out. He did say that one person needs to be responsible for making the reservation and for signing the contract. I cannot afford to stay onsite, so I can't be the one in charge of that contract. Too poor!

I don't know if we really need a hotel committee. After AmySue went and posted about the rotten parking situation at Desert Inn, it seemed most were interested in just sticking with HoJo as the off site option.

So in other words, one group onsite and one at HoJo. At least that's what I thought.

Really, the Hojo seems to give us a good rate (even if you need to fight with it after the fact), its clean, and they gave us the room to do our meet and greet last year. I know someone else on here just bought into DVC aside from Cheryl! But still I would love to stay on site for a good price. If we can't find anymore roomies for the DLH, Melody, I guess we'll be doing HoJo's again. I didn't have any problems with it last year, I would just love to stay on-site.

Or I could get a really good job, save $, and go to WDW and stay on-site for cheaper I miss WDW, it's already been 3 years!
