Good afternoon, ladies!
Just poppin' in to say hi!

I just finished breakfast (yep, I'm a late riser but hey it's spring break!), unloaded & reloaded the dishwasher. I'm off to do laundry and get ready for the gym.
After Tyrae gets out from work he, Diana, and I are going to see Monsters Vs. Aliens in 3D!

Bob is so cute! I have one of the first workout DVDs, and at one point Bob looks straight at the camera and he says something like, " Come on! You can do it! Are ya doing it?" Then he grins. And I'm like, "I'm doing it Bob, I'm doing it!!"


Well, I am jealous of anyone with a job that allows them to work from home. That's what I really need.

Ooh, that might just motivate me to exercise (maybe ). Shhhhh, dont tell anyone, but I his tattoos!!

I'm getting too old for hangovers. Wait, I'm a college student now.....isn't partying required when you're in college? Not that I did that or anything when I was in college in the 90s.

I believe it is part of the curriculum

I'm back from Vegas!! Had a wonderful time, and want to go back again.

You should go back - June around June 21-26?????

I was reading the Vegas thread for the Girls Only trip. Man, are you guys gonna have fun! What a great group of girls going. I wish I could go, but we get back from our Alaska Cruise the weekend before you go. I will be fresh out of vacation time and $$. If you do a trip next year, I am for sure going.

So, since this is still our trip planning thread, I'm just keeping it on topic even though we have like 10 and a half months to go. LOL

Does anyone know if the new Thunder Ranch area will still be doing that Celebration meal thing during our next trip?
If so, that might be a fun thing to add to our meals. I know I'd be up for trying it out. I'm always on the look out for something new and fun to add to our list of activities.

So I have never had Cold Stone, explain please. We only have Baskin & Robbins here in my lame loverly town.

I've never had Cold Stone either, but I know there's one just across the street from Disneyland, in one of the hotels (I cannot for the life of me remember which one though )

Cold Stone Creamery is a place where they have these frozen marble slabs and they put the ice cream on the slabs and then mix-in different things--nuts, M&Ms and other candies, etc. It kinda lets you custom-make your own ice cream flavor. The marble slabs keep it frozen while they do it.

Ah - we have Marble Slab Creamery here that is the same thing. I chocolate ice cream with crushed Crunchie bar and toasted almonds (mmmmmmmm )

Does anyone know if the new Thunder Ranch area will still be doing that Celebration meal thing during our next trip?
If so, that might be a fun thing to add to our meals. I know I'd be up for trying it out. I'm always on the look out for something new and fun to add to our list of activities.

I think everyone is pretty much on their own for hotels. There has been a LOT of talk of staying on site. I'm one for it!

I'm still hoping the DLH has a good AP rate during our trip. I can only dream about staying at the GCH because their AP rates aren't so great.

Hi everyone! Happy Hump Day!

So this morning we made our second run to the Urgent Care in the last 5 days. First time was for Lindsey's cough and sore throat. This time was for Noelle. She got something in her eye last night. We washed it out and didn't see anything so we thought it was ok.
Well, this morning she woke up with it all puffy and red, and it hurt. So we took her in and sure enough she had the teeniest speck of dirt under her upper eyelid that was irritating it. They were able to numb her eye and remove it. Then we had to fill a prescription for some antibiotic eye drops that she has to use for the next 5 days.

It's just fun, fun, fun around here.

Anyway, thankfully it's all just been little stuff. She said her eye is already feeling much better.

Hopefully everyone else is having a smoother day so far.

Aw..that is the pits about your girls! I hope Noelle's eye stops hurting, now that she has some drops to help out.

Yum yum! I second Cheryl's description. They have different flavors of ice cream, that are made onsite. My favorite mix is fresh banana ice cream with strawberries, chocolate and almonds! It's called Banana Split Decision!!

They do offer a group rate. When I called they couldn't tell me what it would be for that far out. He did say that one person needs to be responsible for making the reservation and for signing the contract. I cannot afford to stay onsite, so I can't be the one in charge of that contract. Too poor!

I don't know if we really need a hotel committee. After AmySue went and posted about the rotten parking situation at Desert Inn, it seemed most were interested in just sticking with HoJo as the off site option.

So in other words, one group onsite and one at HoJo. At least that's what I thought.

All I know at this point is I will be slumming it at the HoJo in my own bed.

The rates aren't out yet. I believe they only have up until June out at this time.
