Get better miss Stacerita!

getwellsoon.jpg

I was going to post this other get well picture, but it had butterflies in it, and I didn't want to freak out Molly.;)

Good thinking! :thumbsup2

Where is Molly BTW? I hope things are ok for her and her friend.

Stacie, do a couple of shots. They always make me feel better.

I did the stripper name generator on FB, and my name is Tiffany Sparklesweet. I like it.

What she said...
What happens in San Francisco, stays in San Francisco. :p

You have it wrong...
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!! Not San Francisco!

Thanks. I enjoy writing. Actually, I love it. I graduate this May with my Health Information Tech degree, then over the summer I will get my RHIT. But I plan to go back to school after taking a semester off and go for either English, or Comparative Lit. That's how much I enjoy writing.

Have some ebi for me.

Would you like to do my Eng 102 class???

I think she used a different formula to get her name. There are lots of different ways to get one. ;)

Stacie, was that mango drink you got at NY NY from the Italian restaurant?

i love the fish and chips at nine fine irishmen..it's fun to sit in the snugs upstairs and have drinks.:thumbsup2

Hey Heather - I like your new Avatar! :)
And look what I figured out how to put it in my signature! :cool1:

Stacie,
They gave her Propranolol for her cluster headaches and Treximet for the migranes. Haven't heard of Maxalt, but if the Treximet doesn't work, we may ask to try it.

I'm glad Cheryl checked in with a few of you. Sounds like she's having a great time.

Dawn - I love GOOD fish n chips from anywhere. I try to steer clear of deep fried, but boy do I love fried fish! As you would say girlfriend....cause that's how I roll!:rotfl2:

Back from sushi, we all ate too much.

Evening all. Well today went FAIRLY well. Mom and I went and had lunch at this cute little Bistro downtown and had this YUM pannini and salad and then a really good apple/cherry tart thingy for dessert.

Then we found the neuro's office and they are doing all this construction downtown so it is a good thing we left early cuz THAT was a pain in the butt. It was right across from the hospital down there and just a big pain trying to park and all. But anyway I met the doc and he was a REALLY nice young guy and I really liked him but unfortunately he didn't tell me much that I didn't already know. He said that the dose of Topomax I am on is the recommended dose and probably ok to stick with and as far as the hormones that he DOES have patients that do that for the hormonal headaches but that if I am worried about long term effects that I really should talk with an OB. And since I don't have a specific one I guess I am going to have to get one of THEM now. I usually just go to my regular doc for that but I think it is time because I don't feel like they are addressing this exact issue. I want to know how safe it is to stay on these pills for how long etc and just talking to my regular doc to me is not working!

Anyway so I guess when I get back from my vacation I will look into that. But anyway he also said that the depocoat that I take for my bipolar stuff helps with headaches supposedly so we shall see.

It is interesting that stacie and Linda mentioned the Maxalt because he mentioned that as well. I have taken just about every narcotic type pill there is from Fiornal to Fioricet, Darvocet, Imitrex, Vicodin, Percocet you name it for my migraines and some work and some don't. I usually try to take Excedrin Migraine first and then I use the big guns if I don't catch it in time. But I take all these "preventatives" to keep me from getting them in the first place but it doesn't always work.

Anyway so I didn't get much accomplished but at least I got a few things answered.

Then tonight we went to the girls open house and saw lots of cute things that they made and their performance so that was cute! Now I am just anxious to watch lost!

Tomorrow I have no work and no apts FINALLY but TONS of laundry and am STILL trying to figure out about packing cuz now it is supposed to rain EVERY flippin day which just sucks but what else is new LOL.

Anyway that's bout all on my end.

Hope everyone has a good night and talk to you all in the a.m.

Got this in an email today (again). It was one of those pass it along kind of things. I liked it and thought I'd pass it along on here before going off to watch some tv:

By the time the Lord made woman, he was into his sixth day of working overtime. An angel appeared and said, "Why are you spending so much time on this one?"

And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic, have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable and able to run on diet coke and leftovers, have a lap that can hold four children at one time, have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart -and she will do everything with only two hands."

The angel was astounded at the requirements. "Only two hands!? No way! And that's just on the standard model? That 's too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish.

"But I won't," the Lord protested. "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick AND can work 18 hour days."

The angel moved closer and touched the woman. "But you have made her so soft, Lord."

"She is soft," the Lord agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.

The Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason and negotiate."

The angel then noticed something, and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek. "Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model. I told you that you were trying to put too much into this one."

"That's not a leak," the Lord corrected, " that's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride."

The angel was impressed. "You are a genius, Lord. You thought of everything! Woman is truly amazing."

And she is!

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy. They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer when they believe there is a better solution. They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you. The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning. They bring joy, hope and love. They have compassion and ideals. They give moral support to their family and friends.Women have vital things to say and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

Please pass this along to all your
women friends and relatives to remind them just
how amazing they are..

Thanks! The jigsaw puzzle ribbon has become a common "pattern" for autism. Here is a quote from the Autism Society of America on why:
"The Autism Awareness Ribbon - The puzzle pattern reflects the mystery and complexity of the autism spectrum. The different colors and shapes represent the diversity of the people and families living with the condition. The brightness of the ribbon signals hope—hope that through increased awareness of autism, and through early intervention and appropriate treatments, people with autism will lead fuller, more complete lives."

I am bad at explaining things so it is easier for me to quote!
