Yay for ChaCha! Now you have to decide if it's worth it. I made over $1400 last year, from mid-July to the end of the year. This year it's not going as good as last, but since this is the majority of my Disney money, I do it so my DH doesn't complain about the budget!

I'll sent a PM to Callie to see if she's free.

No Way! So am I!! LittleBlackRaincloud is in Tucson, and DangerMouse is in Phoenix. Last year, we had a couple other girls from Arizona, but they didn't go this time.

Hey! Okay, that's better!

Is anyone going to be in the parks on Wednesday, April 8? My DS18 and are are flying out for the day to go to DL, since it's his 18th birthday, and I would love to meet up with anyone who's available. Our plane gets in at 8am, and leaves at 9:25pm, so we'll probably leave around 8pm. I'm pretty sure we're upgrading his ticket to a PH, he loves Buzz so will definitely want to do TSMM.

Zoe and I will be there with Kelly and her family.

Wait until they get older...the presents get more spendy!!

Kaelebs birthday is in 10 days. I still need to shop, plan a party or talk him into Tripleplay for the day or something.

More spendy?!!!

Other than when they'll want a car, I can't think of anything more expensive than a Playstation 3, a million games to go with it, and those $200 Lego sets. Plus the parties with their friends......ugh! I'm exhausted just thinking about it. But I'm already broke, so I guess that's a plus.:goodvibes

I knew I wasn't crazy for mixing you two up. :)

Was January also sitting with us? That's what I was trying to get at...that the two of you were next to each other and therefore I got confused. (so much better to be confused for a reason, rather than just b/c I was exhausted from the very beginning of the trip)

No, I'm pretty sure January wasn't sitting with us a Carnation.....if she was then, wow, I guess I was really tired too.

I remember Kelly, Rosemarie (Kelly's mom), you, Donna, Michelle, Kerry, and Tracey. I think that's it. I was sitting at the end of the table though, so I didn't get to talk to very many of you. Heck, I spent quite a bit of time with Kelly and her mom during the trip, and I think even Kelly forgot I was sitting with them at the Carnation dinner. :goodvibes

Okay, I just want to say two things:

First, the tag fairy is slacking!!! Last year she was all over the place slappin' new tags left and right on the ladies after our trip (except for me, whom she forgot....left out of the fun......whaaaaa!). This year....zip....zilch....NADA!

Well, I loves me the Tag Fairy, but I agree! I am SOOOO ready for a new tag instead of the one that continually reminds me at how much I sucked at my first MouseAdventure!

Hello . . . Tag Fairy---where are you????? WE MISS YOU!!!!!

How is Your foot, Michelle?
My Mother wanted me to thank You again for the pretty pin! She was looking at the one that You and MaryJo gave her last night and she loves them. Thank You for being so kind to her.
I hope you are not in pain anymore.

CheryLLLLLLLLLLLLLL...... StALk StAlK... :rotfl: ... yesterday i was trying to study for mouse adventure.. i looked up the theme of it and then looked over the rides that might pertain to it. i am sure it didn't help at all:rotfl2:

I would highly recommend getting there in time for the first meeting (this year it was the Thursday night pizza party)...I wasn't able to come to that, and it took me far longer to get peoples' names, and that caused me to feel clueless...I'm still trying to figure out if I met a couple certain people! So go to the initial party...you'll feel much more ahead on knowing people. :)
I agree. The Meet and Greet was a huge success and a great way to start off the trip and get to know everyone.

I think that's a great idea.....but ummm, which pictures are we talking about here? I don't want to scare anyone.:rolleyes1
Pictures of my choice..........mwahahahahah. :stir:
Of course I am open to taking bribes to make sure it's a pretty picture. :rolleyes1

Yay for ChaCha! Now you have to decide if it's worth it.
Hey Stacie, I keep getting those high volume alerts. Have things really picked up that much or is it just BS?

I agree on the Tag Fairy! Amy really needs some sort of speed demon tag seeing as how she made it from Vegas to DL in about 3 hours!! LOL (she's gonna get me for that)

Maybe we need to bribe her? Think she likes chocolate?

Oh, I know!! I remember the days when Adam was happy with some new Hot Wheels cars and a new track to run them on, and the girls were happy with baby dolls.
Bring back those days!!! For my wallets sake. lol

I went to the doctor's yesterday, and we decided to give me one more week without work. I go back next Thursday to see how things are doing.
I hope you feel better by then. Yay for your DH being so great. :goodvibes

We were sitting next to each other at the Storytellers breakfast though. My hubby saw this picture and thought we looked like sisters. :goodvibes
I love that pic of you two!! You are both too cute.

Nope, she was at the table with me, Stacie, Melody, Sarah and Heather.

Yes, it can get even more spendy. Bikes that cost $300 :sad2:

I am really hoping that Kaeleb will want to go swimming instead.

A Playstation 3 is $399.....and a Playstation 3 bundle is $499+. Check them out at Walmart.com. Shocking, I know.

Maybe I should try to find one at a pawn shop. I've never been to a pawn shop before, but I hear they're doing a bang up business lately, and one of the hot items coming in are newer gaming consoles like Wii and PS3s.

Beth, I'm an expeditor at ChaCha, and it's nonstop for me. It's crazy! I'm not sure what the normal load is, but last night, it was relally busy. You should try it out again. We can have our free corndogs and date shakes together! :thumbsup2

I remember the Hotwheels & Techdeck days...they are so over now...
darn kids...

For Christmas I paid $275 for my Wii.
But when the ex bought the PS3 it was...are you sitting down for this...
No, really I would sit down if I were you....

$799 :sad2: That was when they had first come out.

I might do that. I can always use some extra money. We've got the family trip to SoCal in early June, and I'll need stripper cash for when the ladies come out to Vegas in late June, plus the October mini meet and I'd love to sneak off to DL in December to see the decorations again. So yeah, I'd better get busy doing something to earn money!! :rotfl:

I did a little number crunching and there is approximately 49 weeks until our next Girls Only trip. If I put aside just $15 between now and then, I'll have $735 saved. :yay: Now the key is remembering to do that. :rotfl:

:scared1: What ever happened to those games filled with water? Does anyone else remember those? You pressed buttons at the bottom that pushed air into the water forcing things to float around. I had one where you had to get rings on a dolphins nose. I loved that thing. I say we bring them back! Vintage is cool again, and I'm sure they were cheaper than $799!

Ohhh! Great idea! I might do $25 though to make sure I have plenty. Stacie are we shacking up again? I think I'm going to take the same stand that Beth is....I don't want to share a bed. Maybe in a king bed, but I relaly don't want to. I am willing to pay more to have a bed to myself. :goodvibes

(I know what you all are thinking, "Isn't this the chick that said this past trip was a one time only thing?" Yay, well, did you really think that would work? :rotfl: )

*hoping to partake of your math skills as mine are so poor*
Beth... you are putting aside $15 every week til Oct?
or $15 a week til Feb?
See i'm already confuzzled:rotfl:

Until February, silly!

Sounds like a great plan, I don't know if I would be able to save it though!

I know....to make matters worse, I think 1 month before that we replaced the Xbox because it had stopped working & that was like $250, I think.

No joke!! What about Monopoly or Scrabble??
