Oh, and Glenn just got a message on his cell phone....to lay him off work. Yup, by message. To me that sounds like a pretty crappy way of telling someone they no longer have employment! Anyway, he should find out tomorrow whether or not he gets the job he interviewed for and if not then he will start the job search in earnest and apply for unemployment. We will also take the kids out of daycare to save money. I have volunteered for almost everyday for overtime...I don't know if there is any available, but if there is I will hopefully get it.

It's pretty late and I'm actually sleepy! I've been staying up until 2am the past week or so and I think it's caught up with me I just dozed on couch for like an hour. I think I'll put some clothes to wash and go to bed.

Thanks Steph! We live in the country and right now we are connected to our neighbor's water with a hose. Which doesn't give us a whole lot. Dave is going to try and hook up to our other neighbors today.

Well, that sucks.

LOL! That made me laugh as our well is literally sucking air.

Melody, I hope it's not too expensive for you guys to get connected to the main water line or whatever it is that you will have to do.

We have to drill our well deeper. We are getting a deal, cuz the guy who is going to fix it, happens to be a dad of one of Kaitlyns good friends, and we have also known him for years. Our good deal is about $10,000 dollars. Believe me, this is good. We were scared, it was going to be way higher. And we have to wait, as the drillers are super busy right now. Everyone's wells are drying up. It is quite scary!!! We need rain!!!

I'm just thankful that it went out while we were at home. We have automated sprinklers, with about 3/4 of an acre in grass, planters and trees. If it had gone out while on vacation next week, it would have burned out our whole well motor. And then you are talking more big time trouble!!

I'm trying to look at the bright side of things, can you tell?

But good thing they can get your well up for that. By the way i love when you make the little rows of smilie frownie faces..they always make me smile.

Steph... i just found out you are going to be having an operation? Take good care and please try to let it heal. Rest! That's an order!

I thought MY ex was rotten but what YOURS did SHEESH! And you have a baby! I am just so sad for you! I wish I lived near you so we could hang out and I could console you a bit. It always helps to have someone to hang with to get your mind off stuff! You just hang in there ok and like I said we are ALL here for you if you EVER need to vent, cry, talk or whatever ok? Courtney that is SO awesome about your mom coming! I know she will have a great time and I know MY mom and the other moms will be happy to see another mom That is so great and that is awesome that you are bringing her!

Sara I am SO sorry about your hubby's job. I agree that was really lame how they handled that!! Plus I hate to hear that you have to work ANY harder than you already are. Cute pics though of your little one's birthday!!! ((hugs)) and I hope dh can find something quickly so you don't have to work any more than you already do!

Well I am off to my therapist today. Boy do I have a lot to say today LOL. Lately things were pretty status quo but now that Lynn is back WHOA! I am going to get my money's worth today LOL. Anyway then not much else today except swim. Then nothing tomorrow and just work on Friday and THEN the big crazy meet. I found out that the girls don't have much of a chance to get any ribbons which I am really bummed about. At our old league they medaled through 3rd and then ribboned through 20th place and then they gave participation ribbons all the way down through the end which was like 80th place or whatever. It was just a ribbon that was like rainbow colored and said the name of the meet and on the back though it had the little stickers that said what place they got on their times so they at least knew where they fell in relation to the other people. Katy last year was lucky in that she got regular ribbons in everything except one event. She only got ONE participation ribbon and even then it was only 24th so she only missed it by 4. She took 11th, 13th and 16th place in her 3 events and then 24th in her 4th out of like 80 swimmers which is pretty good. Now in THIS meet there is like 100 swimmers. But they only give awards through 10th place which I think is kind of unfair cuz that means 90 other kids in each event get nothing for their trouble. And this team actually medals through 8th place and then ribbons for 9th and 10th. But still I know that my kids won't get even close to the top ten because of their times. They just aren't quite good enough yet. They might get in the top 20 in some things but not the top 10. It almost seems pointless to even go and put up with all of that for nothing but whatever.

I wasn't sure about Buzz, but when Toy Story first opened they didn't allow young kids unless they could sit on their own??? I remember because they wouldn't let my neice sit on my sisters lap. They must have changed this.

Thanks for the info. I'm going check it when I'm there. I love that ride & haven't been on in awhile because I assumed the baby couldn't ride.

We had alot of fun on the walk in walt's footsteps tour. I thought we might do it again. Yet i've read on the disneyland board that they have been out of the pins for months and are telling the people on the tour they will mail them out.

The back of my pin from last years tour broke off and last time I went to DL I went and asked for another but I had to leave my address so they could mail me one when they get more.

Sarah, what did you and DBF name the darling white kitty? I know you were tossing names around...

Umm...she's still nameless. I've been calling her Fluffy Stuff. And guess what...Yesterday when I got home from work DBF's shows me this paper and at first I think it's the contract we signed when we got the new kitty from the breeder, I'm like "What?" And he keeps holding it in front of me, then I notice that it's filled out in his writting (I filled out the first one) and I still don't really get it. Then I notice the date (July 14, 2009) and finally I get it. He bought another kitten yesterday. He said that the first one needed a friend. The new, new one isn't ready yet but we get to pick her up on August 4th. I guess she's a blue (gray) and white with a really smooshed face. Now we need to think of 2 names. But we are going to think of names that go together like maybe Sugar and Spice.

Congrats on kitty #2. I think Sugar & Spice is cute, especially if one is sweet and the other mischeivious. DH & I sure miss our Coco. I'm just not ready for another cat just yet. I'm thinking maybe Santa will bring us one that needs a good home.

Let's for sure do a mother/daughter photo. There are at least 12 of us, that would be cute!

I was worried you might feel you shouldn't or couldn't make it, and I think you need it more now than ever. Can't wait to see you my friend.

When I went to the court assistance office I could not believe how many women were in there filing divorces. I was shocked. It is really sad.

It's sad, but what I find even more sad are the number of women who stay in bad marriages where they are abused verbally and/or physically, or they have men who are cheating on them putting them at risk for all sorts of diseases. They are with men who tell them what to do, how to act, who they can be friends with, etc. That's no way to live.

My SIL is married to a possessive man like and it makes me sad. Life is to short to be unhappy. So more power to those women who are out there realizing they deserve better and making their goals and dreams come true.

I was hoping to add a DTD place or even offsite (maybe Mimi's?) just to mix it up a bit.

Last time there was a group of us that ate breakfast at Mimi's the last morning. I really enjoyed that. We can do that again instead of Riverbelle Terrace? I love Mimi's!

I'd love to do Cheesecake Factory, but it's so far. Not sure how we'd all get down there to the Gardenwalk area.

Not yet. Since we can't start making reservations until 60 days out, or is it 30, in any case, we have plenty of time. I just wanted a general schedule for people to start forming ideas of what will be happening when.
