I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July. The 4th is Josh and my 12th anniversary. We're not sure where the time has gone but it's going there quickly.

I just got back from a podiatrist about a bump in/on my right ankle. Long story short no matter what it is, it has to come out. I have to get X-Rays and possibly an MRI. He said it's either a cyst or a bone spur/chip. I'm not sure which I'm hoping it is. If it's a cyst I'm worried if it's benign or malignant. If it's a spur/chip I'm worried about the overall strength of my ankle. I'll keep you all posted on this as I find out.

LOL I love your energy. I am still recovering from last week with the Divas. They wore me out. Stacie wouldn't let me nap.

Yes, one group meal per day. Doesn't have to be table service either. We can make it a counter service one day.

The Gospel Breakfast sounds fun. I guess the key would be making sure we'd all be able to get in and be seated at the same time.

A quick hello to all!

My mom came through her surgery very well and was awake and talking to us tonight. The doctor said that he did not find any other cancer cells and that it was contained in the one nodule...a huge relief for us all! They will know the final results early next week after pathology has a look at the tissue.

She might get out of the hospital tomorrow and her sutures out next Tues. and then they can go to their home in Southern CO.

I'm exhausted but very relieved.

I'll be back in LA tomorrow to repack...I need sleep and a vacation!

All you Diva moms to little princesses out there...do I have a story for you!

I just called DH to check on the kids since I am working a double and guess what....he got the joy of telling me that our 50 some year old babysitter didn't like that my daughter's hair was in her eyes so she.....CUT IT! I am absolutely LIVID! First haircuts are huge in my family and something I was really looking forward to with my ONLY DAUGHTER!!!! She didn't even save the clippings! I had a haircut scheduled for her for Thursday with a family member and we were going to discuss what hairstyle would be cutest on my daughter and decide on the cut based on that! I am ...... words are almost beyond me....well a couple of ones that would get bleeped here are the only ones I can really think of so we will just leave those in my head! . I tell you this...she should be

Yup, I am appalled! From what he said she didn't cut the bands TOO short and to be fair we probably would have gotten them at least evened up anyway, and he said she didn't take any off the back, but no one in my family got to witness it or take pictures and then to not save the hair on top of that. I have been going between anger and crying since I found out. I am sure it will be BETTER when I see my dd in person, but still!

I would suggest somewhere for a CS lunch. Like Rancho where everyone can grab something from other CS places and meet there to eat. You can get something from French Market, chimmichanga cart, Stagedoor or wherever and just meet up there at the time for lunch/dinner.

An off site meal would be nice, but getting there might be an issue for some. Not everyone will have a car or access to a ride. Unless we do somewhere within walking distance. I don't have any suggestions for that.

A meal in DTD might be nice. I did enjoy Tortilla Jo's last time I was there. Might be an option.

As far as the candy buffett.....I think we need to go over that with the meet and greet/welcome committee and see.

I like the idea of meeting up at Rancho, it's very open so anyone can join us.

I always forget about the transportation part! I don't think we'd have enough mini-vans for the amount of ladies we have going on this trip!

Oh yeah, the meet & greet committee need to talk about it.

You want to see a show? Do dancing? Bars? or what? That would make a difference on where we steer you to.

Not too much going on here today. Shane ended up getting the day off which I was not too thrilled about because he has to take Tues off as well for a training class for his new job venture. So that is 2 unpaid days in the same pay period . Then we finally heard back about Lynn's probation hearing and it is on the 14th but I told him I will just have to take her cuz he can't miss yet ANOTHER day. It is going to be VERY interesting how THAT turns out. If we go in front of the same lady that she saw the last time she is NOT going to be pleased with her I can tell you that!

Anyway so since he is home today he will watch the girls while I run in to work. Then tomorrow we are going to mom's for the 4th and hopefully church on Sunday. Then I have a follow up with my doc on Monday and I actually already got a call from the GI doc for a consult on Wed. So hopefully I can FINALLY get some resolution to my stomach issues that have been bothering me for years!

But anyway that's about it for me. I hope everyone has a GREAT day today and if I don't talk to you have a GREAT 4th tomorrow!

Jordan turns 13 tomorrow. Next Saturday he is having his party.

Our July 4th plans are still up in the air.
We have a few options.
Camping is now out.
1. Go to Leavenworth for Kinderfest
2. Grand Coulee Dam for the laser light show & fireworks.
3. Go to the St. Joe river for the day and then to L's 'rents house for fireworks.
4. Go out on the lake on the waverunners, but its a busy wknd on the lake...so sometimes it gets a little dangerous out there.

it has been a busy & long week. Lots has gone on, but there are just somethings that I shouldn't be posted on a public forum, so please just keep us in your thoughts.

Hello Ladies! Happy Friday! My aunt took me to DTD last night to have dinner. My family is all out of town but they will celebrate my b-day and my older sister's b-day when they return next week.

I renewed my Premium AP and also got a birthday fun card ($69 merchandise gift card). The other options were a 1-day fast pass card that allows you to ride the fast pass rides one time each or a 1-day admission ticket to the park to be used before your next b-day. The CM said it can't be shared or given to someone else to use.

My aunt loves the salt water taffy they sell so I got her a bag from World of Disney. Last week I spotted someone holding a bird plush from the Pixar short: "For The Birds." I should have asked them where they got it from but my bf and I were rushing to make it to Transformers 2.

I asked 2 CM's if they knew where I could find it and they said they didn't know what I was talking about. Then last night, while I was waiting to pay for my items in World of Disney, I look at their plush section and spot 2 big eyes. I ask my aunt to save my spot in line and quickly run over to see what it is. I was so happy to find it was the bird plushes! There were only 3 left but I snatched up 2. Here's what they look like (they also squeak when you push their tummy):

What part of eastern washington do you live in? Not planning to leave the house today. Hwy 2 is a nightmare! I have spent the last 2 days making raspberry jam and smoking salmon and jerky. Trying to get everything done before I have surgery in August.
