Hi girls!

I skimmed again...so I really have no clue what is going on.

Brent is healing up nicely. But occasionally will overdo it and need to rest.

Thanks to all your prayers and good thoughts he is doing great!

Hmmm...Mel, did you ask why I want to move to Arizona? I could have mis-read it..but I am going to tell you anyway.We hate Boise, we like warm weather but cannot afford California, and the school I am going through does their teaching certifications in Utah (no thanks) and Arizona. When I was in my early 20's I would travel with my family to see my cousin's baseball games (he played for UCR) against a few schools in Arizona. I thought it was very lovely. I am a desert girl. However, the oppressive heat in the summer doesn't sound too fun, but what are ya gonna do? I would take the heat over slippery roads and frozen feet ANY day. Plus, it is really close to our families that live in So Cal )and Disneyland).


I feel bad that I have zero time to really read everyone's posts. I will try tonight to get all caught up.

So, when are you looking at moving? We are moving from Tucson to Phoenix next summer. You need to be there also, then the 3 of us (Stacie, you, and me) can get our Disney groove on. We'll almost be as cool as the girls in Vegas! Almost!

I just boxed up my exchange gift. I hope my friend likes it! It will be in the mail tomorrow.

That's all for now! I made a new recipe tonight (for me). It was a Pampered Chef recipe, and it was fabulous! DH had 4 servings!

I just heard on CNN HLN that if you are renting and the landlord has been foreclosed on, as the rentor by Federal Law you have the length of your lease PLUS 90 days to leave the property.

This has been set to not only aid the rentor but also the bank as they do not have an additional property sitting empty.

Just thought I'd pass it on. As You have been in my thoughts.

Coupeville got hit with an earthquake! Pretty big news here in Washington and I thought an ominous welcome to Callie as she arrives to her new home. That girl can really make the earth shake, kwim??

Whoops! Accidently erased some of your post. Anyways. Yeah.......I know. I am a little naive when it comes to drinking. I don't mind a drink as you know, but I can not stand to be sick from it. I do not get headaches the next day, I get seriously nauseated for most of the day. So since I was young, I just don't go overboard. All I have to do, is just think about what I will feel llike the next day, and that stops me cold!! When I met you guys in April, I had one bloomin Margarita at Tortillas Joes, and felt sick the whole next day. I have a very stupid stomach. Really............I think it is over active. Anyways, that is my excuse for being so dumb, and I'm sticking to it. So there!

Sorry I haven't been around a great deal but there's way too much going on here and it doesn't seem to be slowing down. I know July starts tomorrow but I'm already getting stuff to plan for August and September and it just seems that July is already over as I'm over scheduled for just about every week day...

Capri I don't know how you're able to do all that you're doing. *hugs* to you and I hope your dad keeps getting better.

I'm working on my Master's degree and some days it feels like it's a losing battle. I just had a vacation and feel like I am in need of another one.

Thanks Theresa for posting about the entertainment rate that's a great deal for our trip.

I'm trying to keep up with reading but may not always be able to respond like I would like to and apologize in advance.

Thanks. I'll know in a week. As for the pain, it really didn't hurt at all. It's the waiting for results that is hard to take.

Beth, I have a feeling that it depends on each individual. I have done mammos that have not hurt, and some that have. I'm beginning to think that it is related to our monthly cycles, when our bbs are more tender.

Awww, I know you are. The thing is......our dates are just soooooo close......it's tempting to try to work it out somehow, but I just don't know if I could handle the load of getting all my work done a few days early......maybe I could.....hmmmmmmm.

Morning all!

Janelle I am sorry about your bf's mom! Prayers to her and you!

I don't belong to facebook. Is anyone going to post any vegas pics on here? Would love to see some!!

Went to swim last night and got the girls pics. They turned out really cute. Also got to talk to the dad of that family that lost their home. It turns out the fire started in their dishwasher!! They had been having some problems with it but had JUST gotten it repaired 3 weeks earlier. They had had breakfast that morning and had run it before they left for the swim meet. And apparently it caught fire. It went up through the kitchen to the master bedroom and into the attic and then it caught the entire house on fire. SO sad!! The wife had left her wedding ring at home in a box on the bathroom sink but luckily the box melted around the ring but the ring was intact!! And they also were able to save a few portraits of the children. Apparently the firefighters came in and threw them in the middle of the room and put tarps over them. They have smoke damage but apparently nowadays they have restoration people that can restore them.

They had a 500,000 home and it is a complete loss! Last night people were giving them gift cards and bags of clothes as they have absolutely NOTHING. All they had was the clothes they were wearing that day. At least the people in the community are coming together to help which is nice. Just SO sad!

Anyway today I am off to my therapist apt and the girls are going to grandpa's to swim and then the rest of the day we are just going to try and stay cool!

And Cheryl you are so right. All I could think about when he said that about the fire going up to the master bedroom was WHAT if they had been home! EEK! SO scary. You know things you can replace and even though it is devestating to lose your photos and mementos it is NOT as bad as losing a life! At least they were all out of the house!

Anyway I am back home for the time being until swim. Not as hot today thank goodness. Shane has class tonight so I am going to have Katy swim with Shelby so I don't have to sit there as long.

My mom brought me a pic of the girls in their little mexican dresses. It is not very good cuz it is printed on paper and then I scanned it. I asked her to e-mail me copies but anyway wanted to share. They looked SO cute!

We discussed the 4th and decided to just do stuff by oursleves and not have any relatives over. It will be nice cuz we can just hang out by the pool and relax. Then that night we can watch the fireworks and not worry about anything. It will be a nice relaxing day hopefully!

Haven't read back but just wanted to post that between saturday at 4pm and Wednesday at 4pm I will be working 64 hours! I had volunteered for a bunch of days hoping I might get one or two more overtimes so we could get our savings a bit higher in case my dh can't get a new job in the next month (for this month he is filling in for the website guy who is on vacation). Well, I got ot all right. 5 extra 8 hour shifts within 4 days!

Courtney - I'm praying for your mom. My dad had thyroid cancer last year and the surgeon took out the entire thyroid as well as gave him a radiation pill to be safe.

How are my favorite girls doing?

I completed my chores awhile ago and have been watching the Dog Whisperer with Anais. I LOVE having DVR! Whenever I find movies we like that are playing on tv (TBS, TNT, AMC etc) I record them that way we can have more to choose from and we don't have to pay for the DVDs.

Plan on taking Osita for a walk around 5pm that way she will be relaxed when we leave for bible study. She has been very mellow today. Right now she is sleeping on the stairs. I swear, sometimes I think she's part cat
