So girls...and those guys that just couldn't resist:laughing: Two days ago I started with tremendous headaches and ended up calling in sick today because I was awakened several times in the night it was so bad athough I had taken several doses of tylenol starting on Saturday and then a vicodin last night.

I am pre-menopausal and am used to PMS but this just didn't feel the same and wasn't following the calendar:confused3 I did just find out I am AGAIN having my period so do you think these severe headaches are just a symptom? I did have hormonal headaches during my teenage years and again when I was pregnant but this felt different...

Absolutely could be pre-menopausal symptoms but if your questioning it enough you should definitely call your PCP.

My GF just went through something similar but all the symptoms were coming across as that of having a stroke ~ peripheral vision issues, couldn't verbalize words were 2 of those symptoms. After going to her PCP and him sending her to an eye doctor to check for a detached retina AND a neurologist who in turn sent her for an MRI just to make sure it was nothing else explained that it is very common for women who are starting to go through the change to have migraines, headaches, as well as the symptoms she was having. Your hormones are in such flux that your body will react in strange ways.
