I just rang Gilestone they really apologise but unfortunately no more fire pits, I spoke to Mark he is the new manager,he has confirmed that it is £130 for the party tent and they are going to decorate it. He asked that when you check in you let him know you are with the party tent group (the 18ft tent). He said that he hopes we will join in with their entertainment, Valleys Radio are there all day on Sunday and they are having chariot racing, Sunday there will more or less be something going on all day.. They have a new hourly thing where we could go and see their Spanish Show horses who perform stunts!!, get a tour and see all of the animals, including llamas, have the opportunity to feed and pet the animals, it lasts for an hour and normally costs £25.00, they will do it for us for £20.00, so about a £1 each, let me know if this is of interest as I have to let him know beforehand - something to think of for Saturday afternoon maybe? I have to ring and let him know tomorrow. He is going to pop and see us all when we get there just to let us know what is going on over the weekend - he said no pressure, just doesn' t want us to miss something we may have found fun.

Jules, it's like tiffin - chocolate, crushed up biscuits, marshmallows and more chocolate. I can also put nuts and/or raisins in instead of marshmallows if people would prefer.

By the way, does Callum have a DS? (And, if so, can he play it with his poorly arm?) Our kids will be bringing theirs and I think Nat's are too so there will be the opportunity for some good link-ups That should keep them entertained for a few...days

Right at last I have had a chance to look at the list and sort out what we can take.

We have a great butchers in town so I can also bring some sausages and burgers

Nat - shall we split the burgers and get half each?

Looks like there are 23 people so far - so a dozen of each will that be enough???

I will also bring teabags, milk, porridge, brown sugar, scones and jam for the clotted cream, butter, cereal, crisps, marshmallows and skewers, possibly chocolate - depending how hot it is otherwise will get some on the Saturday.

Washing up liquid and dishcloth and kitchen towel. We also will bring a rug and we have a pump. I will bring a kettle if we can fit it in!!!

Deb yes please for all four of us for kebab - Carol - I reckon one pastie between all four of us is great thanks - just a taster will be brilliant - especially with all the rest of this food.

Sweets, torch, matches, playing cards - do we want any games etc., for the party tent - Twister? Disney Triv etc. etc. what do you reckon? Jules are you sorting out paper and pens for the quizzes?

I'm sure I will think of more before Friday.
