I was getting all excited then We could have Kevs meet in the middle of May or why not combine the both? I remember Kev wanted it down in West Country. We could have the meet at where Kev wanted to go and some of us who want to camp can camp or if others wanted creatures comforts they can stay in a hotel near by. What do you think?

Hi Everyone, Kev is going to arrange a meet in May isn't he, I had forgotten that he was planning for May, depending on what date Kev picks maybe our camping trip should be a little later in the year ?

I think thats a good idea Jules, later in the year will be warmer and then we all get to meet up twice, once at Kevs and then a summer camping one

oh thanks Sue, I felt quite badly when I realised, I hadn't forgtten about Kevs meet, just forgot it was May. I worry then !

Is anyone away in the summer? My dh and I are off from the second week of August. I think its the 11th August. Due to school holidays. If need be I will try to book the weekend off. Only prob is if we are thinking of peak summer then most of the camp sites will be booked up. We had problems booking last year.

we are not away until December this year Michelle, so we are pretty free most weekends. I am sure we will be able to sort something out that means we are all happy, I am looking forward to it as much as you are x Lets wait for Kev to tell us what he has planned and when and where, and then we can work from there, does that sound good to you ?

Crikey! You women don't mess about! You've very nearly planned 2 meets .

I was definitely talking about a meet in May, so we may as well make it the weekend of the last bank holiday.
With that date set, I'll start to look around for potential places to hold it. Whether this will be the big camp out meet will depend on what I can come up with. Of course, there needs to be some refined accomodation for our more delicate guests (Matt).

Just off out for a meal, so I'll look around in the next few days. Debs idea of the Cotswold Water Park is a good one. They have some great places to stay and camp.

Well i don't know, i take my eyes off you lot for a couple of hours and the date has moved, unless we all camp at Kevs house instead Its hard keeping up the stringers, bucklands etc. Ah well, i assume a plan will become clear in time, must dust off that sleeping bag
