Gifting points to my son...

Hey guys, so I have some extra points that I don't really need anymore with the kids out on their own now. My son is a member also. Basically what I'm wondering is can I gift points over to his ownership as long as that particular loan is settled? He's already an "associate member" on my membership, but it would be much easier for him & his wife to just have these points together with the rest of theirs & not spread out over several memberships. Yes you can gift a contract. Of course the contract keeps the original UY and home resort points.

Check with DVC Member Administration for what is required and make sure that your son titles the new contract exactly the same as his others or he will end up with 2 separate memberships/logins.

You may want to use a closing company to help you with the paperwork.

If by "extra points" you mean part of contract then no. It will have to be a whole contract that is gifted.
