Giftcard/rewards card and tips ???

I have $150 on my Disney rewards card (from my Disney Visa). . . I WAS going to use it to pay for part of the package, but it was $200 cheaper to book through AAA.

So, my question: Can we use it to pay the tips at TS restaurants (we are on the DDP, but need to pay tips)? OR can we put it on our account upon check in?? OR can we convert them into Disney Dollars and then use those to pay tips???

I charged everything on my room key, then paid that account with my rewards card.

You can also use it to pay tips at TS restaurants if you prefer. They run it through like a credit card, and bring you the same kind of receipt to put in your tip amount.

If it's swipeable and plastic, Disney will take it. Just spent five days down there living off of one $100 Visa gift card and one $100 American Express gift card.
