Yea, I saw the light and I think I'll cross over before the show is canceled.
First Moonlight and now GW, "off with their heads"!
That was beyond stupid. Why kill Jim and then put him in another body? Will they have two people playing the character now? How will Melinda explain falling in love just weeks after her husband dies? Will he know he's Jim?
Well they jumped the shark and I'm jumping ship. After I leave here I am headed to write a scathing letter to the powers that be and one to Jennifer Love Hewitt. Shame really cause it was the only decent thing on TV on Friday's.
OK, maybe not scathing, but more of a shame on you letter.
Considering what they did do with the story, they probably seriously considered that idea.Well, even though most of us don't like the storyline, it looks like the writers/producers are assured of a big audience tonight, probably drawing in people who haven't watched in awhile, just to see the outcome.
Maybe she'll be pregnant and the baby will be a little tiny David Conrad. They'll superimpose his head on a baby's body.![]()
They more than jumped the shark.Wow, um....does anyone feel that they have really and truly "jumped the shark"?
Come on, Jim is a ghost that takes over a dead guy's spirit and reanimates the body, but the brain only has the memories of the original owner. This is just so freakin' messed up.
spoilers above
Well, I think I am officially done. Too bad, I have been a loyal viewer from the beginning, but I simply cannot watch GW anymore now that it has taken this turn. I hate that Jim died and kept hoping he would "wake up" from his coma and the whole thing was him dreaming. I was disappointed when prof. Payne left, and now that Jim is gone, I just can't watch.
Wait a minute, I know that I missed one or two episodes, but my goodness! Look at what I missed! I have not read the entirety of this thread. So I want to make sure that I understand what happened, please. Jim is dead? Why? Is this a dream sequence? Like with Dallas, and the Bobby Ewing shower scene, where after one full season, and his having been buried no less, he shows up in is widows shower one morning! I could not believe that, it was not like he was in a coma. He was suppose to be dead. I could not accept that his wife, had dreamnt an entire season! If a few episodes had been like that, then perhaps. But when something like that is being done, for an entire season, that is when I say, sorry, I cannot accept that. I stopped watching that series as a result, and it happened to end up being the second to the final season. I still liked the show, however, just felt too manipulated by the shows producers, so as to remain a loyal viewer. Unfortunately it sounds like GW, is going to be the same way, if it is not already.
I LOVED Moonlight and was soooo disappointed when it was cancelled. Now, it's replacement is already gone. What a waste of a good show.Yea, I saw the light and I think I'll cross over before the show is canceled. First Moonlight and now GW, "off with their heads"!
I think that's a good idea. I'll follow yours up with one of my own...![]()
I just watched it. I can't imagine what the writers/producers thought would be so amazing about the show with this twist. I'm just disappointed.
What's the difference between him not crossing over and him jumping in a new body? It's still him and doesn't he still need to cross over?

It would have to be done by a Mod on this board. I would do it if I could, but I am not able to.Uh, oh. Seems like we still have new people clicking on this thread. Since we have two Mods here also reading this thread, can one of you change/add to the thread tilte that this is a Spoiler thread now? . . .not that it will matter much as no one will be watching next week.![]()
Ewww! Yes, now I'm remembering that episode. The body did decompose .I completely agree with how stupid I thought the show was. The last time they had somebody take over a body (for their 10 year high school reunion), the body started to decompose, but the previews indicated that he would be in this one indefinitely.

ETA: Done!
