Okay, I tried booking both my cruise and then my room for my trip in August. My online points said I had a certain # but then when I did the cruise with points, the CM said I had more than appeared on my screen. When she went to use them, she was denied and probably said they were ghost points. About a week later (which is now 1 month later) I tried to book my room for after the cruise. I certainly have enough points (but I have two contracts - one BW the other BCV). In any event, when the CM went to put all the points together for the stay it didn't work for some reason. Once again she said I had more points in this use year than appeared on the screen for me (but less than the CM said I did when I booked the cruise). In any event, they held my 1BR confirmed I'm solid for my ressie but will not or cannot give me a confirmation number. The matter was referred to IT. As I said this was one month ago and I have called at least once a week to find out the status. I wanted to make sure everything was okay to book my airfare and was assured that I could and so I went ahead and got my airline tix. I must have spent a total of 3 hours being on hold or talking to confused CMs and then to an even more confused supervisor this past Thursday. Has this ever happened to anyone before? The only thing I can think of is when I was at the BWV this past January the CM at concierge said you're getting an upgrade, but all three of my kids were running around like lunatics and that was all he said, so I just assumed he would give me a better room, which I did not get - just the standard 1BR which I had reserved. I thought, hey maybe I blacked out on a magical moment b/c of my naughty kiddies and he gave me a night for free (which explains why I have more points than actually shows on my computer). I dunno but I'm getting frustrated and I have spent way toooooo much time on this to make a simple reservation. Any suggestions or comments would be helpful! Thanx!

Sorry fr all the trouble you've been having.

If it were me, I'd send an email to MS asking for your confirmation number and a current status of all your points. Explain everything in the email, include your member number and if you remember, any names & dates of your calls so far.

At least you will have a written record and are more likely (IMHO) to get a faster response. The email address is members@disneyvacationclub.com

Good luck - Please let us know how this turns out.
