Aren't they great? I have gotten to meet Jay a few times (in fact I pointed him to this thread to show him how much we love them, lol) and I met the others on one of the Darkness Radio trips in Warwick. Such nice people and I honestly believe it when people say that fame has not changed them. I even have a picture proving that Jay smiles.

Didn't you love Dave? What a great guy and one of my best "online" friends. Heck, 99% of the people I have met in the field are great folks.

Dave is hysterical!! He just cracks me up!! DH was on his show the other night and Dave & Tim really kept him on his toes, I guess. I haven't had time to listen to the archive. Bad me! LOL!!

That was your husband? How cool! Yes, Dave always has me in stitches. He had me laughing so hard once that I literally could not breathe. I call him my second husband, because if hubs ever left me, I would marry him.

Yeah, I don't like this show. I think the mediums are total fakes. Now Ghost Hunters on the other hand is totally cool. They come at it from the perspective of trying to debunk the whole haunting thing. They also have all that equipment that they can catch things on. Hey, remember the episode with the haunted lighthouse where they caught a shadow figure on camera? That show was one of my favorites. Another cool one is when they go back to the Stanley Hotel and Jason and Grant hear that little girls voice down in the employee passageway....creepy.

Went to the haunted lighthouse in St. Augustine this summer and I too got some scary photos. I promised on another thread to put them on for all to see but I am still waiting for my son to do it.

One is of a man dressed in one of those Gorton's Fishermen hats with mutton chop sideburns and a moustache. My son was the only one in the room and there was a cabinet. I told him to just take a ton of pictures and see what happened. When we looked at the photos on the computer there was this faint image of this man. Sent chills down my spine still does. The other was taken from the bottom of the circular stairway looking up. At the top you can see a little child leaning over looking down. It looks like a little girl with marcelledhair and a barrette in the side. You can see her head leaning on her hands which are leaning over the railing at the very top. It showed up very well on my husband's lap top but then it is hard to see on my home computer probably b/c we have crummy resolution.

Although we won't get the new shows for a llooooooooonnnnggggg while, I thought everyone would like to know that there is a Ghost Hunters marathon scheduled for Feb. 4 from 9 AM to 8 PM. Thats Super Bowl Sunday, but if you are not interested in the game (I'm not; my team is out) this might be a good alternative. The shows on the schedule are:

I literally had to go pee after I saw that.

Just joining the thread. I have seasons one and two on DVD ... the deleted scenes are really good -- shows some of the production aspects of the show (lighting, sound, etc.) We pop them in every now and then when there's nothing else on.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Steve. Told DH if he ever divorced me, I'm gonna go get me a scruffy, tattooed, sensitive, -phobic Ghost Hunter of my very own!

Question though, does anyone watch Most Haunted on The Travel Channel?? I personally can't stand that show... They never try to debunk anything, and every little sound they think is a ghost. That blonde guy who 'summons' spirits gets on my darn nerves too...

I watch it, and think its funny Derik is just a nutcase, you know the guy who "talks" with his guide sam and lets sprits overtake him?!?..um ok if you say so
They do try and be all serious, you know betwen the, "did you hear that?" "did you see that ?" and my favorite "If you can hear me make a noise....Oh great, can you do that again please?"

I have been SO missing Ghosthunters. I have been wondering when they will return. The show is so much fun. I still laugh at the episode when one of the guys convinces a newbie that he is putting a head lamp on his head and it is really a princess crown.

I cannot wait until February the fouth. I hope they have the shows about the lighthouse, the prison where the dark shape was running down the walkway, and Savannah, Georgia show. I am really disappointed that the show will not be back until June. I miss it a bunch.

I listed all the Feb. 4 shows in my post on page 3. The lighthouse show is one that will be shown, and I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

How cool! I've been to that lighthouse one time but I was probably 5 or 6 years old. I would love to go back now, especially since Taps got some great evidence there as well.

As someone posted here earlier, the new shows have apparently been bumped to June according to the Ghost Hunters web site. First they were to be shown in February, then March, and now June. A lot of people are very unhappy about this.

We were just down there in November. I had no idea it was on Ghosthunters until after we came back to PA and my dd showed the pics to her boyfriend. He saw it on GH. While we were there, we were in the basement of the lightkeeper's house. My sister and BIL were in the first room, my dd15 and I walked thru to the back room, then back to the middle and we were looking at the cistern. We heard a noise in the back room and realized no one was in there and no one could possibly be in there (we just came from there). We both got freaked out and hightailed upstairs. My Sis and BIL laughed at us. Today we caught part of the episode on GH, and my hair stood on end the whole show. DD wants me to dig out our photos and examine them.
