I have gotten this question from hundreds of you. After all, it is a valid question. Where did it go? Will there be more? Thank you for the concern, you are all truly, the best fans out there.

Well, I don't pretend to know what goes on in the minds of television executives but here is what I DO know...

- A full season is comprised of 22 episodes. The first half of a season is 13 episodes, the "back" half is 9 episodes. So far this season, we have only aired 6 episodes.

- The show is NOT canceled

- We have filmed seven more episodes that haven't aired.

- They are waiting until after the new year to air the next seven. Supposedly for fiscal reasons.

- We will hear if we are going to film the back nine episodes of season three some time within the next four months.

So, now you know what I know. Doesn't seem so bad, does it?

I just wish that March would come already..or at least they'd just air reruns of season 1. Recent reruns are to frsh in my mind. I really like this show. "Hauntings" on Discovery is ok, and "Most Haunted" on Travel is too fake. Ghost HUnters is the best IMO and there is no comparision.

Joining you in "TAPS watch 2007"!! LOL!! I missed some episodes in the last round b/c we were traveling. I need to get caught up!

DH and I have been investigators, here in CA, for over 5 years and just last week we did a 3 day retreat at the Queen Mary with Jason, Grant, Lisa & Donna......plus people from a couple of other shows (Patrick Burns, Chris Fleming) I didn't know. They said they thought the show would be back on in June, as Planogirl posted.

We had a great time and got to investigate 4 different areas of the ship and will be doing the Stanley Hotel in March!! I can't wait!!

Aren't they great? I have gotten to meet Jay a few times (in fact I pointed him to this thread to show him how much we love them, lol) and I met the others on one of the Darkness Radio trips in Warwick. Such nice people and I honestly believe it when people say that fame has not changed them. I even have a picture proving that Jay smiles.

Didn't you love Dave? What a great guy and one of my best "online" friends. Heck, 99% of the people I have met in the field are great folks.

That would be cool if they did, I know there are a few haunted buildings on the Cape, my wife knows of a few, and there's a book about haunted Cape Cod buildings. I may have to buy it now.

DH and I are hooked on the show. I just figured that the new season was a short one, glad to hear it'll be back after the new year. Did anyone else watch the live 6+ hours on Halloween? We were so bummed when it stopped airing to those of us with directv. Oh well. It was still a nice treat.

I tried to watch that show, but I kept falling asleep.

I'm another that thinks that travel channel show is so fake and hokey.

Let's put some creepy lighting on them and see how gullible people are. I get so sick of them saying."Did you see that" or "Did you hear that?" but WE never see or hear anything. With Ghosthunters we get to see and hear what they do! And sometimes it just creeps me out! The lighthouse episode gave me the willies big time!

I sent an email to sci-fi just the other day asking about the show, and saying how I cant wait for it to come back on.
Maybe I need to send another asking why June??
