Ghost Hunters Thread & Personal Ghost Experiences & other Paranormal Talk.

I googled both of them. The Colonial Inn one could be interesting.
It seems like they've usually had kind of a flat episode after a really good one but I don't mind cause I even love the episodes where nothing happens. :woohoo:

Has anyone been wondering where they'll have their Halloween overnight show this year? I'm already gearing for the Halloween season though so I keep thinking about it.

They're rerunning the Lizzy Borden house episode if anyone's interested. I know some of y'all were talking about it awhile ago.

Off to watch the new episode. I'll be back.

The Lighthouse is on now! This is a good one!:scared1:

So do we have a ghost rating for the show? AND no Breezy do NOT count my ghost as part of the rating ....strictly rate the show!

Update on the voice. My sister who is a mega skeptic came over tonight and my son played it for her....she heard it too. If anyone was going to deny they heard it it would be her. :scared1:

I am still begging my son to put up the lighthouse photo I have. But then again....my husband is out of town on Monday night so I need to get all the sleep I can during the next couple of days!:worried: :scared1:

Hi -- new to this thread but HAD to post after watching GH tonight. I don't know how Jay kept from hitting that guy in the second case. I can't believe that he sat there with that smug smile and chuckled when they mentioned what they'd found! :furious: I think it would have been much worse had Grant gotten hurt when he fell. My rating -- zero ghosts but a few daggars for that manager!

I agree about that guy and the Blue Lady. Can I vote -10 ghosts? Very disappointing. The manager was very smug too. At the beginning, he made reference to the guys about the chandeliers moving, then at the end during the reveal, he mentions how they are rigged. So he obviously didn't 'forget' like he was trying to play it up. What a jerk.

DH kept saying that they shouldn't have even given that guy any publicity for his restaurant, they should have just scrapped the tape. On one hand I agree with it, but on the other hand I'm glad they showed them for the fraud that the Brewery is. :sad2:

I agree. He was also very smug about the idea that he didn't think it would deter future customers for coming to the brewery. I guess time will tell, but I'd bet people are going to feel stupid for having been duped and stay far, far, away.

Too bad Bella can't find a hooked up speaker in her attic to put her mind at ease. Hopefully you will find peace with whomever is up there and co-exist without fear. Kind of makes me sad to think that people hang around after they've passed on. Eternity is an awful long time to not be at rest.

It just shows that they do debunk. If that last place was on "Most Haunted" and that nut-case Derek was still with them, I'm sure "Sam" would have given him identities and histories for all the phony stuff. This had to have been a set-up. I would bet that Jason and Grant weren't so civil with this guy off-camera.

 Then tonight's episode would get a fat ol' goose egg ghost from me. So disappointing.

And, hey, all y'all know how I feel about voices - I'd of been sleeping in a motel the last few days if I were you. I'm a big old scaredy cat at heart.

I think I'd like to hang around for a while after my passing, not for eternity, but maybe for a couple of hundred years or so. I've told DH if I go first I'm going to come back just so I can scare the crap out of him.

I just love your tag GeorgeG: "I fully intend to be a ghost when it's my turn" :thumbsup2

I would have liked to have slapped that look right off his face. It was all just a big set up and that just stunck.

I wasn't impressed with the first episode either, rather disappointing, but they will come back with a better one next week (I hope).

I am so glad they are showing the lighthouse one again.

My DD and I loved watching this show, which we fondly now refer to as the "Stupid English People" (no offensive intended to our English friends across the pond). I love how Yvette will always jump and say "did you hear that?" and everyone else agrees! How come she's the only one that ever seems to hear anything (more like the team couldn't follow a cue, so she needs to say it out loud!) It's a great show when you need a good laugh. Have you ever seen the spoof they did on Saturday Night Live with Hugh Laurie?! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: OMG, it was THE funniest thing I've EVER seen. (Tried to find the link on YouTube, but I couldn't find it -- sorry)

That was hilarious! I tried finding it too but NBC blocked it for copywright infringement. You would think if they didn't want anyone else to show it they would at least have links on their website. :confused3 I guess we'll have wait for the re-run.:worried:

Congrats!

Thanks!!!

Tonight's show was bizarre. It was so different than when the Queen Mary tried to pull a fast one. They at least had the grace to slink away.

I'm glad that they played this episode though because it'll warn people that there are fakers out there. It's really a shame though because if the place is haunted no one will believe it now.

Well, last nights show was a bust! It always amazes me how little knowledge the owners or workers of a place that is being investigated has of the place. Haven't they seen the show before? You would thing that they would have looked into the stories that are being talked about before they passed them on as a "maybe" proof of a haunting. I mean Kris is able to find the info why can't they?

I have actually seen other shows about the place in California and the Blue Lady. I wonder when the owner put in the "enhancements" and if the shows I saw long ago would have been affected by them. I would be a little leary believing anything that has happened to me if I went there. The canned laughter was so lame. Who in there right mind would even believe that could be a ghost!

Grant and Jason should have tag teamed that guy!
