Staying at Grand Floridian this June and was wondering if we eat at Boma's at Animal Kingdom Lodge what is the best way to get there. We are flying in so we will not have our own car.

If you're going to Boma for dinner, you could always spend the day at AK and then take the short bus from AK to AKL. To get back to GF, hop on the first bus going to a park and then transfer there to GF. Of course, if you're having breakfast, that's another scenario.

Be advised: it took us well over an hour to get back to the Poly after dinner at Boma one evening in July. You could also take a taxi. We saw several just sitting out on front of AKL. In retrospect, we should have done that.

Honestly I'd just take a cab from the GF directly to the AKL as it would take less time. :thumbsup2 If you don't want to do that, take the monorail to the MK and then take a bus to the AKL.

We took a cab when we were staying at the GF for our honeymoon. It cost us $30 including tip to be driven from there to AKL for our Jiko dinner...and well worth it, as it was so hot that afternoon and I was in heels!! After dinner, we did the bus to MK and then monorail because it had cooled down and we weren't in a hurry....

Monorail to MK, bus to AK.

Actually that's bus to AKL (Animal Kingdom Lodge).

You could also take a GF bus to AK then a bus from the park to AKL, a very short trip. I am not sure if GF would be the last pick up en route to AK. I know those buses share but I'm not familiar with the routes. We took a WL to DTD trip and I thought that bus stopped at GF before arriving at DTD.
