The info I've found about renovations at the GF only covers the 1900 Park Fare closure through Oct. 1. Does anyone have info about room/building renovations? We'll be at the GF Nov 1-6.

Sorry, I haven't got any specific details but we have booked through a UK travel agent and the letter they sent us relating to the works says 'there is a refurbishment to the guest rooms and hallways at the Grand Floridian. The work taking place will include new carpets being laid, new soft furnishings and painting, during this time no heavy machinery will be used. The hotel has assured us that where possible all guests will be allocated rooms away from the work and noise disturbance will be minimal. Work will take place Monday through to Friday 0900 to 1700 with all work due to be completed by December 21st 2007. During this time all facilities and amenities remain operational.'
