GF questions

I am totally excited because we changed our reservations from POR to GF, but now I have some questions. We have a standard room reserved. What should I request in my fax? I don't want to be too far away from the main building but the GF doesn't seem too spread out. Are all the buildings a decent walk to the main building? Any info at all would be great. Some info on us might be helpful. There are 5 of us: me, DH, DD8, DD6 and DS 3, but he will turn 4 on the trip. And I will be 5 mths pregnant with no. 4. So HELP, please. I just haven't researched the GF much--I'd kind of given up on any codes coming out, but we switched with the AP rate. YEA!!!

We always stay in Conch Key. Its right next to the Boat transportation the takes you to the MK. I always try to arrive around 10:00 am the day of ck -in. Usually they will have several rooms ready and will allow you to choose . They have also let me go up to room and see it first. When checking if the CM is not very cooperative, just kindly excuse yourself and return in say 5min. and try a different CM. Big Pine might be best for you, its the closest standard view to the main building. We will be there in 8 days! We got Lagoon view @$223 per night.

I got an ap rate for lagoon view for jan 12- 15 and it was $840, how did you get it so cheap? Fl resident rate?

Is that 3 or 4 nights? What is your per night stay? I got an Airline discount.

That has to be total for 3 nights since I'm paying $747/night in June for the honeymoon octagon concierge room.

Just a note of caution about the GF Main Building Concierge Honeymoon rooms. The octagon turret rooms are by request only. There are a total of 15 rooms in the Concierge Honeymoon category. Only a limited number of these are turret rooms. Some of the turret rooms face the monorail/front entrance (not the greatest view, unfortunately).
