GF concierge on points

We have 300 points in a holding account we need to use quickly, so we were thinking of staying at the GF concierge.

I read on the GF FAQ on the resort board that you could only get Sugar Loaf and not the Royal Palm Court in the main building. But they seemed to be guessing, not basing it on fact. At the steep amount of points, I would really like to be in the main building. They say that that the concierge lounge in Sugar Loaf closes at 7. This is a real disadvantage, I think.

Has anyone done this? Where was your room? Is there a choice?

I'm a DVC member who has used points to stay concierge at the GF. You are DEFINATELY going to be in the Main Building when you stay concierge at the GF on points. I verified this about 1,000 times before and immediately after I made my ressies. It was confirmed for me when I was contacted by the RPC staff. Enjoy your stay!!!!
