GF choices: LV standard vs Concierge "light" (Sugar Loaf)

TRIPLEFIGS Congrats on making your decision! I know you have put a lot of thought into your vacation and I am sure you will have a great time with your adorable family! My trip with 2 connecting LV rooms (unless of course a suite opens up for us) at the GF is happening before yours so I will be sure to let you know how things work out for us.

It's not that I don't believe your confirmation, but there have been too many posts about DIS'ers not getting their guaranteed interior connecting rooms. The most recent was a guest who went through Special Services for medical reasons and the resort still couldn't accomodate her. She has been posting the responses she's gotten from corporate and the bottom line from them is that irregardless of what the confirmation says, it is not guaranteed. I imagine that if it's 1 adult travelling with more children than what the room can occupy, they have to definitely make other arrangements (like providing a suite or moving the party to another resort). However, if there are 2 adults, they would probably stand by their "nothing is guaranteed" statement and expect the adults to split up between the two rooms. I don't mean to throw cold water on the thread, just playing devils advocate.

I agree with tammi
the thread us about amsu woes and it was on the trip report page it was sad
awful service for this family
last time i checked it the executive secretary woman wasnt frowarding her complaints to people and they made TONS of excuses for messing her stuff up
im getting MAD just thinking about it
ill see if i still have it in my folder and post teh link to you
read and take CAUTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

triplefigs,

Please keep in mind that taximom arrived on EASTER Sunday. You are going during one of the slowest times of the year. This will make a huge difference.

Since you will already be at the CR, go to the GF and check in first thing in the morning. I've checked in at 7:30 am before checking out of our other resort. Check to make sure that the rooms are connecting. This will give SS and GF time to make the appropriate changes in your room assignment if needed. I seriously doubt you will have any problems. :goodvibes

That's what I was planning. In fact, since we'll be there for 3 days, should I go over and ask to speak to the Room Assigner in person and discuss my children's medical needs for a room when we first arrive at WDW? Would that help for 3 days later, or should I just go EARLY that day to check in?

Thanks!

If it would help you relax during your vacation then yes! What could it hurt? I'm sure they will be very accomodating to you once you share your concerns. I would even take the triplets with me. ;) There is a t.v. area near the guest services desk with small furniture just for children. :flower:
