I just called Disney Dining to confirm what this meal would be. It is "preplated" which just basically means the menu choice is limited. It's not a buffet, not all you can eat. The characters are Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother and the mice.

Here is what she told me...

Each adult gets 1 appetizer, 1 entree and a shared family dessert.

Appetizers include: Strawberry soup, Soup of the day, House salad, Spicy shrimp

Entress include: Prime rib with potatoes, Shrimp pasta, Smoked pork with cabbage, Chicken breast with vegetables, Grilled salmon with spinach

The desserts are just listed as "an assortment of desserts."

Child's menu: Pasta with meatballs, Chicken strips

We passed on it also. It's just not the same as the buffet. DD a picky eater so well do mostly buffets.

We're going to miss Cinderella and the Prince but I passed on this one.

Us too. We really like the BUFFET at 1900 Park Fare. We have been going since 1996 - when it was Mickey and Minnie.

When will the refurb be complete at 1900? I have told my DU agent that I want to book dinner there for our Christmas trip this year. Our dining ressie window opens in 2 weeks. Will 1900 be up and running by Christmas?

We're skipping it this time too-we love the buffet! :cloud9:

The rehab is scheduled for 7/9/07 - 10/1/07 so you'll be fine at Christmas. :goodvibes

Thanks for posting! We are going to this meal in August. At first, I was disappointed, but we have 3 other buffets (CM, CP, and Biergarten) on our list so I think it will be nice to have our food come to us for a change! DS8 is a little disappointed though since he likes the choices on the adult menu better. I promised we would share tastes with him.:thumbsup2

We're looking forward to it. I'm actually kind of happy it's not a buffet. I don't like buffets and we're already doing several others. I prefer to stay seated and have my food brought to me, LOL.

I may cancel my ADR in Sept. for there then. Dh is a vegetarian and that's a really limited kid's menu as well. :sad2: I'll wait until it goes buffet again.
