Getting transportation at MK 2 hrs aftr closing?

What I want to do is after "Wishes" and MK closing (both at 8:00), go over to Poly or GF for Electrical Water Pagent at 9:15 or so, then monorail back to the MK. Will the buses still be running to the resorts (I'm in the BW area)? I figure this will all take 1 1/2-2 after MK closes.

Well, park closing is usually past my bedtime but as a backup, you could take the DTD bus from Poly or GF and change there.... also, to get back to MK bus stop area from Poly or GF you would probably be best with the monorail if the boat launches don't run that late.

maybe you could monorail over to Epcot, and then get the bus back to your resort from there since Epcot is always open later. Or you may have to take a bus from where you see the Electric Water Pageant to DTD and then bus from there to your resort. Good luck with however you decide to do it. It looks like we are going to be in the same boat next week.

Next week is when I'm doing this too! Actually January 9th to be exact. I can't take the monorail to Epcot since I'm staying at an Epcot resort, and I don't think they'll let me walk thru Epcot after closing (or will they?) I may have to take the bus to Downtown Disney, then to Boardwalk. Or is there by any chance a direct bus to the Boardwalk from either GF or Poly?

Sorry no direct bus between resorts, your only choice after the parks are closed is to transfer at DTD. If you have a car you could drive to MK parking(TTC) then walk from the Poly to your car at then end of the night, it is a short well lit walk.

At least once I've had a monorail CM allow me to exit at MK well after closing when I explained I was catching a bus. I wouldn't want to bank on this, though, and there's also the issue of if busses would still be operating that late.

This might be one of those rare cases where driving to MK, if you have a car, is the best option. Doing the "connect at Pleasure Island" thing is one to be avoided except as a last resort.

Has anyone here *ever* heard of a guest being allowed in the Epcot front gate after closing in order to walk through to the International Gateway exit? (Another possibility is that Epcot could have evening EMH that night, which would mean the front gates are still open.)
