We are leaving for WDW in 2 days and would like to go to Sea World and Universal Studios for a day. We are staying in Disney and not renting a car. Is there a free shuttle service that takes us to these parks or another shuttle that will get us there. When ever we go we always stay in Disney and go the parks. We have never tried going to Universal without a car before. Please help

Thank you

You have to use Mears or a cab or limo. There is no designated shuttle between WDW and Universal.

There is a shuttle between Universal and SeaWorld, however.

Thank you very much for your response. Do you happen to know the cost of getting there from Mears or taxi and do they pick up at our hotels?

From Downtown Disney to Universal is around $25 by cab. I think it is $12/person round trip by Mears but I have never taken the Mears transport.

Make sure that when you are returning to Disney from Universal, that you are dropped off at a hotel because if you are taken to a park there is an extra $10 fee at the gates. We got dinged with this last year being dropped off at AK and were not impressed.

There is no extra fee to be dropped off at Universal.

I am not sure of the cost for taxis or mears but I was thinking of using Tiffany Town Car to get to Universal/IOA when we are in Disney in Nov. They are very reliable and I wouldn't mind paying for the service since it will be planned and they will arrive when requested, etc...no worrying about finding a cab/getting to TTC to get a bus. I think its $35 each way...I would rent a car but then have to worry about parking, getting lost, etc...I like to be worry free on vacation...:)

I would be interested if anyone else had other suggestions though...TIA!!!

If you can get it for that price, I say go for it. I would think it would be more since $35 is about the cost of cab fare.
