Getting to resort dining

So my 180 window is coming up :cool1:
For the first time we are planning on doing some resort/DTD (dinner) dining as the parks will be closing earlier for parties several nights of our stays.
We will have our own car.
How do I get an idea of how long it will take to get from park to resorts?
We are planning on dining at, some it may be better to leave our car at MK then catch the monorail:

1900 Park Fare (GF)
TREX (dtd)
Beaches and Cream (At least for the kitchen sink)
Captains Grill

Maybe others not sure.
Argh having a hard time working things out without the park hours :)

Rule-of-thumb: Allow an hour.

But, that will vary VASTLY depending on from where you are coming... and considering parking lots of the various resorts.

When you have the actual parks and meals booked, please post back and we
can give you more accurate info, including some extra tips.

You wouldn't need an hour to monorail from MK to Poly or GF right? How long would you leave for that? (Thank you)

From Magic Kingdom to GF will only take under 30 minutes.

And, you can take a shuttle boat that is even faster (and more fun) than the monorail.
(That's what I mean by "extra tips.")

But, if you are headed to other non-MK resorts (and/or from other parks, or even your resort) the timing will be much different.

That's what I mean when I say that the timing will vary.

Fastest way to GF is to take the boat (assuming you don't have to wait a long time for the boat).

When is your trip?

The park hours are currently posted through the end of November 2015.

Also a tip that I found when I was there during party seasons - when trying to leave RIGHT at 7:00 from MK on a party day, the human traffic is quite heavy and lots of people are heading for the boats and monorails. If you're leaving a little bit earlier for, say, a 6-6:30 dinner, I think usual timing recommendations will hold, but if you try to squeeze every last minute out of park time, it's a little unpredictable what that large crowd will be like to get through.
