I'm just in the planning stages of my trip (July 2004-- 7 day Eastern and probably flying in the day before)
With All Seasons Travel, do you have to find your own way to port or a hotel close to port? If so, what is the cheapest way to go? And does anyone know a nice, low priced hotel in that area? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
:)

I can only help you with a few concerns,
first~ read Dave http://www.dcltribute.com/
and Barb & Tony's sites http://www.castawayclub.com/
for more info on hotel close to Port Canaveral and ways to get to the Port.

I don't know about All Seasons Travel, but my transfers are included from MCO to PC... I could have rented a car or used a town car/limo service, but we wanted to use DCL transfers this time, I think it's $46 per person, it's just my daughter and me, she wants to see the video again and liked the bus on her first cruise, so I figured why not?? It should be exciting with any transportation we use.

Cheapest way to go?? depends on how many people are going. A lot of people just rent a car, stay near the port and use the hotel shuttle to go to the terminal. You could use a car/limo service, some of them have large vans, etc. Check out the transportation board also for recommendations. I used Yourride www.yourride.net last year going to & from WDW and didn't have a problem... you'll find pro's & con's with each company, even with each car rental company... different people, different opinions.

MissDisneyTeach, you have to purchase transfers for them to be included with your cruise, and those would only work on the day you embark and disebmark on the cruise. Did you want to come in a day ahead? Some folks stay in or near the airport in Orlando if they are coming in late and others want to stay near the port. The Radisson is popular, and Dave's site, I believe (www.dcltribute.com) lists some other options.

Other transportation options include town car services or renting a car and driving yourself.

Enjoy! :)

Our plans are to arrive at MCO the day before. Happy Limo to the Radisson and then the hotel shuttle to the port. The, upon our return, Happy Limo from the port to MCO.

Happy Limo is a better option for us because there are 5 of us. It works out cheaper to arrange for car service. Also, we wo'nt be on a bus at the aiport, waiting for it to fill up. Then ther is my not unfounded fear of arriving the same day. Can't do it this time.
