Getting to ICE at Gaylord Palms

I'm planning to visit Ice at Gaylord Palms Resort. I know the resort is about 5 minutes down the road from our resort, AKL. Anyone have a suggestion for a cab company? Should I prearrange a cab or can we just have the resort call one for us the day of? Anyone done this before or have an idea of price?

I never usually leave WDW property, let alone by cab. I have no idea.

I would just rely on the resort to arrange for one the day of. A wild guess would be around $20 but you can check with Mears Transportation to get an idea.

We used a Taxi for the first time at Disney this past September. Concierge called for us, and they were there in about 2 min. They are basically waiting in the parking lot for a call. If you go to the mears website you can type in locations and destinations to get an estimate of the cost!

BTW, ICE is wonderful and this year they also have a SNOW exhibit! Lucky you!

ICE is amazing! It's hard to even describe. Sculptures take huge blocks of ice and create all kinds of things imaginable.
When we went they even had a slide completely made of ice that you could slide down on!
They even provide jackets and gloves. Just don't wear shorts like my son did, lol.
If you do a search on You Tube of "Ice, Gaylord Palms", there's a bunch of videos. That would describe it best.
