We'll be going to Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue in April. We will have a car & plan to drive to Fort Wilderness. (The boat from MK sounds great - but that isn't our MK day!) We will already have our tickets so we don't need to pick them up before the show.

I know we have to take an internal shuttle down to Pioneer Hall. How long does it take to get to Pioneer Hall from the parking lot at Fort Wilderness?

How early should we arrive for dinner? What time do they start seating people?

Trying to figure out what time we should plan to arrive at the parking lot of Fort Wilderness.

Thanks!!

How long does it take to get to Pioneer Hall from the parking lot at Fort Wilderness?
. . . bus ride approx 10-min
. . . allow waiting time up to 15-min for next bus
. . . then, allow 5-min walk time to Pioneer Hall

How early should we arrive for dinner?
. . . at the "show time" on ticket
. . . this is admitting/seating time, not actual show time
. . . example: 5:15pm show time is 5:15pm doors-open time
. . . some pre show stuff occurs during seating time

What time do they start seating people?
. . . see above

. . . with above and walking time, 45-min before show time

Perfect! Thank you! That's exactly what I needed to know. I was planning a 4:15 arrival so that will work out well.

I will second the time needed. I thought we had given ourselves enough time when we went in 2010, but everything took longer than I expected. Those internal shuttles are confusing!

I will say that your table assignment is already made---it's done in the order the reservations were made. So, no need to rush to get in line. The hostess has a card with your party's name, and the table number is already on it.

Good to know that our table assignment will already be made. I made our category 1 ADR first thing in the morning on the first day it was available to us so hopefully we'll be right up close.

HOOP-DEE-DO-REVIEW SEATING INFO:
1) HDDR tables are assigned in category by the date of the ressie.
2) They are manually assigned on 7th day before the show date.
3) Last minute ressies are assigned to the next open table in order.
4) There are usually no requests allowed for tables.
5) Earlier ressies get the better tables.
6) Exceptions are #044 & #045, kept for last minute handicapped guests.
7) Table numbers have meaning, (facing the stafe)
. . . EXAMPLE: table #052
. . . 0 = floor-level
. . . 5 = fifth-row-from-front
. . . 2 = second-table-from-left
8) Tables are moved around to accommodate number of guests per that table.
9) Only one family/group is seated per table.

. . . Cat-1 tables are main floor from stage thru row-8
. . . Cat-2 tables are the seven tables in row-9 on main floor
. . . Cat-2 tables are the last four tables left and right wings main floor
. . . Cat-2 tables are the eight rear balcony tables facing stage
. . . Cat-3 tables are the eight tables on both balcony sides
. . . Cat-2 and Cat-3 tables may have posts in the viewing way
. . . most Cat-3 tables require you to turn around or crank your neck to see
