Getting to Hollywood Studios

We have a breakfast at Cape May at 8:00am and then we want to go to Hollywood Studios. Which why is better to go take the bus or boat? You can take a boat right?

You can either take the boat or walk, there is no bus brom the BC to DHS

It would be better to walk. Since the boat will go to Epcot before it goes to the Studios.

Nope. Not unless you get on the 'Epcot' boat. The boat leaves Epcot, goes to BW, then to the YC/BC, then on to S/D and finally to DHS. The boat leaving DHS does that in reverse...S/D, YC/BC, BW, Epcot.
If you were to arrive on the dock just as the DHS boat docks, you can figure on it taking about 18 or so minutes to DHS. If you don't see a boat coming in, or worse yet..just leaving...you could face a wait of up to 20 mins before the next boat comes along.
If you walk, it would take you about 20 mins. I seldom take the boat when staying in that area. The walk is very pleasant, along the canal, on a very nice sidewalk.

If you take the boat from the DHS side of the YC/BC dock, it would go the Swan & Dolphin next, then DHS.
