So we are staying at the CR starting tomorrow, and have plans to go to DHS for the Osborne Lights and DTD (DS, whatever) to see star wars. We have a 2 year old ad a 6 year old. My DH HATES the disney busses, and I was fine with saving time by trying Uber to those locations since there is no monorail or walking option. We haven't used Uber yet, but my brother in NYC uses it a lot. I had thought there was an Uber family option where you could get a guaranteed car seat. But in reading on other threads here, I don't see evidence that exists. So does that mean we can't use Uber? I don't mind the cabs, really, but there have been times in Disney when there weren't cabs with car seats available, and the one time we tried to actually call and request one it was a fiasco. I had thought Uber was our perfect solution until I was looking into it today. So can we not use Uber? Is a cab our only option? I do know busses exist, and I understand a lot of people love to ride them at Disney, but we are looking for other options

I don't think you can request a car seat with Uber. Plan on taking a cab.

Unfortunately Uber family is only in certain cities including NYC. Since Uber is functioning just inside the legal realm in Florida they don't offer Uber family.

You can hire a car or rent a car for the day. Those would be the only way I imagine you'll get a guaranteed car seat.

Then are recent reports of horrendous parking issues at the Studios. Boats from EPCOT are also reported to be packed with long waits. If you have a double stroller (or two strollers) then I would take the monorail to EPCOT and walk through the park and walk to the Studios. This avoids buses and the car seat problem but it is quite a bot of walking.

Agree - if you have a park hopper than this is the route I would go if you want to avoid the buses.

Honestly I would also avoid cabs or uber and even avoid renting on a trip to the studios based on the traffic and parking reports posted recently. We leave shortly and plan on using WDW transportation for this very reason.

It won't be quick to pass through Epcot - but you could make it fun by taking in a couple of the WS storytellers and then maybe stop for a snack and to see the decorations on the boardwalk along the way?

This may be the time for your DH to make an exception and take the WDW bus from the CR to the Studios as it will be the quickest/most efficient way during this busy time.
