I know you have to pay for the entire cruise with your Disney Visa (or Disney Debit) card in order to get the beverage credit - $50 right? Do you just call after you're PIF and ask them to apply it?

Yes you just call dcl

But just FYI, you don't get the beverage credit if you have onboard booking benefits. You only get one DCL promotion.

Good to know for the future. This one's all booked from here - no other DCL things.

We did that-we called, had it applied. However, in checking my final statement at the end of the cruise, it wasn't on there. I just emailed dcl when we got back. They looked into it and I found the credit on my credit card statement in a couple of weeks. So, just beware-check for it on your final list of charges after your trip.

Travel Agents are real... I know one

Ok. I don't believe in USING them. They do nothing I cannot do myself as a capable adult. And traveling solo, the piddly amount of OBC they *might* give isn't worth the hassle of having to call them every time I want to do something.

To get the Disney Beverage Credit, can you also use some of your Disney Reward points to pay for the cruise, or must the entire cruise be put on the visa? We have some reward points that we were hoping to apply and then use the visa to pay for the rest. We could use the reward points to pay off everything we charge while on board, if need be. Thanks.

The entire cruise must be paid for via the Disney VISA card. That's why you get the perk, because you only used their product for the entire purchase.

We've used a combination of the Disney Visa and Disney Visa Rewards and still got the $50 credit on our two previous cruises.
