It's that time again:sad1:Anyone else start to be sad 2 months before a trip?At this point in my timeline of a trip I get emotional just watching a Disney commercial.Any advice?

I voted "no". However, I used to get Disney blues on the last day of our trip. I'd feel the need to soak it all in and worry about the possibility of not returning for a while. Then, we joined DVC and visit at least every 6 months and frankly, on our last 2 trips I felt like..."get me outta here" on our last day.

So, the solution to your ailment might be to go more often, even if it means taking shorter trips.

My trip is over presidents week and I have been bummed already about it being over. Then this weekend I booked a trip for July and now I am totally excited about my trip again. If I do not have another trip planned I just get really sad :sad

Yes! I had the Disney blues before our trip a little, but I just got back last week and we have the Disney blues bad now haha, but planning our next trip helps.

I only get them at the Orlando Airport heading back home. The longest possible time before more Disney.

Depending on my DH's job - we may have to cancel our 10 day wonderful vacation.

Yes, I made our ADR's, have plane tickets and even our 10 day park hoppers,
but DH may not be able to get the time off - 7 work days in total.
He works for a cheap & not professional boss, who is an atorney !

So yes, I get happy and sometimes sad that we may have to cancel.
I hope everyone has some magical blue skies ;)

Yes, I get the Disney blues BAD :sad1:

The only way I get around it is to have another trip planned! :cool1:

I ma very lucky that my husband shares my love (or is it addiction??) to Walt Disney World/Disney Cruise Line!

I start to get the Disney Blues when I am boarding the Magical Express to go to the airport to fly home. But today, I am counting down...I leave for Disney World in 2 months! :)

I don't get the blues before I go just really really excited.

I have to stop DH watching the weather channel the minute the weather reports start showing weather for the days we are not going to be there.

On the last day I'm a mess and I have to bite my lip to stop from crying. I know I'm a total nightmare for DH once we get home because I want to book right away which is the only way to get over the blues.

This trip will be bitter sweet as after this one we are not sure when we are going to get back.

I get them... mostly once we get home from a trip. I have to take a couple days off from work to get back into the grove of normal life. The blues only tell you it is time to start planning your next trip. We have been home a week and i have already called DVC MS to ask questions about how to make the next reserv. Nice guy. :) 11 days, 19hrs and 21min before i can call and make the first sequence of reservations....

Absolutely!!! Starts happening before the trip stops, goes away at the beginning of the trip, then returns at the end of the trip and lingers for a while. Glad to know I am in good company :).

I always have the next trip in planning status and I still get the blues at least two weeks before our trip. You get so excited planning everything, watching your countdown, then wham, it is two weeks out and you know it is going to be over soon.:sad1: You want the countdown to go fast but then the time down there goes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too fast:rolleyes:
