Getting stuff to room?

What is the usual tip for Bell.

The general guideline is $1 - $2 per bag, but I usually apply some common sense as well. If I have a bellman come all the way to a SSR room to pick up just an owner's locker, I'll generally give him/her a $5. If we're loading in groceries, I certainly don't give $2 for each grocery bag. When we've checked in/out of the tree houses, the bellmen worked like crazy getting everything up and down the stairs so I remember being especially generous with those tips.

We lug the stuff using as many trips as it takes. Sure wish DVC offered self-service carts but not having them doesn't stop us from moving our bags, food stuffs, etc. between villa and car.

I wish they had self service ones too. There are four of us usually, so we also just make several trips.

Usually takes DW and I 2 trips. 1st trip is 2 large rolling Suitcases and any light bags ect that we strap onto the handles on the rolling suitcases. We empty those in the room and then take them back down to the car and put the heavier stuff thats left in the car in the now empty rolling suitcases and roll that up to the room and we are done.

It's vacation. Bell services. The few dollars it costs is worth it to me.
